This was an amazing experience. We made the uninformed decision to go to the Almafi in off season (November), and stay in a smaller town (Praiano). Once we got here we realized most things were closed for the season, but thankfully there were two restaurants open still (outside of our hotel where the food was terrible)...Saghir was one of those options and we were so thankful it was!
It's a one man show. He cooked and served and bartended - and we loved every minute we were there. He was great and so was the food. Highly recommend no matter what season you're visiting! Very small place but that adds to the experience for us.

The steak was perfectly made and the panna cotta was to die for. My wife was super happy with her spaghetti puttanesca. Everything was so delicious even by italian standards.

Loved our meal here! The menu may seem simple, but everything was prepared perfectly. I am still thinking about the grilled calamari.

Eh.... Looks better from the outside. Bland and overpriced.
Tasty food, warm service and no table charge or anything like many restaurants on the coast.

Wonderful unique place with great food and service. Fantastic greeter, server, chef, and busser, Piccoletto is an amazing one man show. This is our second trip to Praiano and we’ve enjoyed at least six meals at Saghir and we will return.

I’ve eaten at many restaurants, but this experience was truly unique. The chef — and I mean the chef — did absolutely everything. He took our order, cooked the meal, served it with a smile, and even checked in to make sure everything was perfect.
Watching one person handle an entire restaurant with such grace and passion was inspiring. You could tell he put his heart into every detail, from the seasoning of the food to the way the plate was presented.
The food itself? Absolutely delicious — full of flavor and clearly made with love. The service was personal and genuine, because, well… it was personal!
We had Gamberetti Sale e Pepe, Ravioli Caprese, Spaghetti Vongole, Spaghetti Puttanesca, Swordfish and Tiramisu.
It might take a bit longer than usual since it’s a one-man operation, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. You’re not just eating out — you’re witnessing dedication in action.
Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates craftsmanship, authenticity, and a touch of human magic in their dining experience.
