Sa Mesa In Alghero

We visited Sa Mesa, and I must say it was a truly special experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously crafted, the dishes are prepared with great care, and the passion for cooking shines through in every course. A special thanks goes to Nuri, a kind, attentive, and professional waiter, whose smile and helpfulness made the evenings even more enjoyable. Kudos also to the entire Sa Mesa staff for their commitment and dedication: you can see and feel how much they care about offering impeccable and professional service. I highly recommend this place for its excellent quality products and for anyone who wants to experience fantastic Sardinian cuisine.

Recommended, good menu in the historic center of Alghero

Positive experience. We had to wait a bit because we hadn't booked; the wait was more than made up for by the speed of the service. We didn't eat much (baked potatoes, roasted vegetables, and suckling pig), but everything was very good. It's a shame about the myrtle, which in such a small, local place should have been homemade and not bottled at the supermarket (that's fine with other liqueurs or bitters, but not with myrtle, come on). Another small flaw: while we were waiting in line to get in, a couple of locals who knew the owner arrived; after a few words, they were immediately ushered inside by the gentleman who was in charge of managing the "reservations" of those arriving and getting in line. Of course, I understand the extra consideration for locals, but I still found it unprofessional to make us wait and let new arrivals pass us by, just because they were from Alghero. Overall, a good dinner, but it could have been better. The 4 stars (and not 3) are because the staff is very attentive and kind, and that deserves recognition.

Il miglior ristorante che abbiamo avuto il piacere di visitare ad Alghero! Cucina tipica buona con ottima qualità/prezzo. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di formaggi,servitoci con marmellate tipiche in abbinamento, la fregola e il porcetto con le patate, tutto ottimo! Nota di merito al servizio, che oltre ad essere puntuale, riesce ad arricchire ulteriormente la serata!

Siamo stati per Pasqua a pranzo mangiando molto bene. Noi abbiamo preso antipasto sardo, gnocchetti al sugo di pecora e seadas, tutto veramente ottimo ed abbondante, ma nel menù ci sono moltissimi piatti di pesce. Personale molto gentile e servizio abbastanza rapido considerando che il locale era strapieno. Da consigliare
