Rusticanella 2 " da Luca" In Lucca

I had dinner with my wife at this osteria ten days ago, after making a reservation because on Saturday nights the good places are "walled off". We had already read good reviews, then as we passed by the osteria, the place attracted us... it didn't seem like the usual tourist spot, and so it was. Porcini mushroom crostini, beef carpaccio with raw porcini mushrooms and parmesan, dressed with delicious olive oil, accompanied by a glass of house red, all excellent!!! The carpaccio melted in the mouth, and since it was mushroom season, the porcini mushrooms were delicious. The porcini mushroom crostini were a harmony of flavors. We finished with a dessert: a chocolate and pear tart with flambéed Catalan cream, a must-try. It's true that the tables are close together because the place is small, but that way we met and talked with two very nice locals who confirmed that the food here is good and authentic at a fair price! We'll be back!

The food was truly excellent, and even though the place was packed, the waitress was very kind and always smiling. We'll definitely be back!

Rusticanella 2 da Luca is the place to visit in Lucca. I ate here multiple times during my stay and tried a different dish each night. Local, authentic, and delicious. The staff exemplify pride for what they do and made my stay here even better. Be sure to try their house wine!

The truffle pici tasted excellent. It's very good value for money!

When I moved to Lucca for a week, I walked into this restaurant on my first night. It became my go-to restaurant for the evenings during my stay. Excellent food. Not plentiful, but sufficient. Efficient and friendly service. A relaxed foreign and local clientele.

A small restaurant in the heart of Lucca. Reservations are highly recommended, as it's often fully booked. I can only comment on the quality of the Florentine steak, as we only ate that. Truly excellent, with a superb value.

I'd love to give it 10 stars. Incredibly delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly, attentive, and simply fantastic staff. I highly recommend it. Even after 10 p.m., there's life and passion here. We'll definitely be back. Chapeau!

Trovato per caso cercando il nostro b&b, ancora con i bagagli, veniamo attratti dalla scritta "il trippaio di Lucca", prenotiamo per pranzo e tale è la soddisfazione per la cucina genuina e tipica al 100% e per la convivialità del locale che decidiamo di tornare per cena!

Anche se siete da soli e’ come pranzare a casa. Accogliente e affettuoso, sia il locale, sia la cucina. Solo toscano e per nulla novelle cuisine. Porzioni da casa della nonna. 😀 Perfetto.
