Excellent place for Italian food. They served us excellent regional cuisine. Highlights included the seaweed fritters, zucchini flower fritters stuffed with ricotta, pasta with octopus, fried fish, and wonderful cheeses with honey and fig jam. Salvatore was very generous, inviting us to try, among other things, his myrtle, fennel, and lemon digestive liqueurs.

We spent a pleasant evening at this restaurant, where we ate al fresco, overlooking Sapri's main square. We enjoyed the traditional cuisine, the friendly and approachable staff, who enjoyed chatting with customers, and the relaxed, family atmosphere. We sampled appetizers and two fish-based first courses, all beautifully presented and with authentic Southern Italian flavors. The price was reasonable, even reasonable, overall. Recommended.

We've been coming here for years, and in the past, we've always had a great time. We returned a few nights ago, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The menu is much smaller than in the past, so there's not much choice. My cavatielli (still homemade) were good, but the steak was full of sinew and the spaghetti was mediocre. What a shame. The place with a view of the square is always lovely.
