Warm and welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service. Perusing the menu, I decided to skip the appetizer and go straight to the first and second courses. I wanted to forgo dessert, but I couldn't.
Everything was delicious, beyond my wildest expectations.

We went to dinner once and loved it so much that we came back the next day. The food was delicious, the prices were good, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. 100% recommended, with lots of vegetarian options.

I have no idea how many restaurants I've eaten at in my life, but this one is top-notch! I've been buying and selling meat for over 25 years and I love it. I ordered a rare steak: simply divine! Perfect cut, cooked, and flavor!

The best lunch in a week in Tuscany. We arrived a little late and were served kindly. Everything we ordered was delicious. The place is beautiful and charming. Plus, the bathroom is full of personal hygiene items for anyone who needs them. Highly recommended.

What can I say? Passing through Castellina in Chianti, stopping at Re Gallo is a must. The food is divine. It's the 4th time I've been there, everything is always fantastic... it's a shame it's a bit out of the area... highly recommended.

Everything was delicious. Very cozy place, great service and delicious food!
Usually I don't like when they bring bread - it only spoils the appetite, but this one was very tasty and varied. We ate everything with pleasure. For dessert we ordered millefeuille - it's one of the best desserts I've ever eaten.
I highly recommend this restaurant!

La mejor cena en nuestro viaje italiano en Osteria Il Re Gallo!
Tuvimos la pasta de rigatoni con ciervos de hilera y el pici Re Gallo que era increíble. Después de eso tuvimos la gallina de Guinea con trufas, también increíble: ). Casi no hay lugar para el postre, pero Viktoria nos convenció de tener algo (ya que todo es casero). No pudimos resistirnos y pedimos el tiramisú, ¡y qué éxito! Comprender por qué ganó la competición de tiramisú hace algunos años, fantástico y el mejor que hemos probado en nuestro viaje italiano.
También nos dieron un poco de grappa para terminar, de nuevo, la mejor cena que tuvimos en la Toscana!
El servicio también fue increíble, gran gracias a todas las damas: ).

locale accogliente in pieno stile rustico toscano. servizio giovane e cordiale. i piatti tipici toscani dove selvaggina e tartufo fanno da padrone. la cantina è molto fornita. tutto ciò ha un prezzo facile arrivare alla piotta.
