The service was super friendly. The staff was very professional. The food… lacked flavor, the arancini were bland, and I ran out of spices, even though I tried three flavors. That's the only reason I'm lowering my rating.

Everything was fantastic and the staff are very kind and create a great atmosphere.

Amidst all the touristy restaurants, this little eatery, perfect for a quick bite, attracts local vendors and workers—a sure sign of its appeal. They serve fantastic pizzas by the slice, schiacciate, and arancini—inexpensive, delicious, and generously portioned. Although busy, the staff is very friendly. Of course, you eat on the go without much space. But after all, that's the atmosphere you're looking for in a place like this.

This is a self-service restaurant. The meals are much better than in expensive restaurants. For half the price!⁰ It has also the advantage that you do not choose by the name but by the look of the dish.

Such a perfect place for a casual, authentic lunch. Great veggie options too. I had an aubergine aranchini and a slice of veggie pizza - both delicious but I did get better pizza elsewhere in the area. The aranchini however I’d definitely go back for - but I’d probably also try some of their other counter food which looked delicious (cold pastas, veggie trays, lasagne)

The pistachio arancini are incredible. One of the best I've ever tasted.

A Sicilian rotisserie, somewhat hidden in the center of Taormina. Pizzas, scacciate, and tavola calda are the specialties. The food, in my opinion, is delicious and perhaps the best arancini I've had this year. The service is slow because it's always crowded and the dishes are reheated before being served, but the digital menu certainly helped. Il Posticino itself is very basic, with stools and a counter for eating. The atmosphere is rustic but characteristic. The prices are reasonable for Taormina.
