A very good hotel with excellent food. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and courteous. We felt very comfortable. We would gladly return!

We stayed at the Hotel Rösselwirt during the last week of October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, and the rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. The food was varied, and every evening the half-board menu included a South Tyrolean specialty. A vegetarian main course was also available. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the service was exceptionally friendly. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

A fantastic holiday! We stayed at the Rösslwirt with our hiking group during the second-to-last week of October and were thrilled. Our hosts, Resi and Elmar, as well as all the staff, were always approachable, warm, and friendly. Everyone was attentive to even the smallest details, yet relaxed and unobtrusive – simply delightful. We had a lovely, spacious room and slept very well. The food was superb! After the first evening, I often stood by the kitchen window, watching the chef cook and looking forward to the next meal. Everything was regional, seasonal, high-quality, and delicious! And then there was the wonderful homemade ice cream – we managed to treat ourselves to a Joggl sundae almost every day! We experienced a truly welcoming, family atmosphere at the Rösslwirt, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back.

We spent a week here at the hotel with our hiking group. Everything was absolutely perfect – the rooms, the service, the food, and the sustainability. It's a place you'll always enjoy coming back to; the staff are always friendly, helpful, and attentive to individual needs. The location is ideal, situated between Bolzano and Brixen, making it perfect for day trips and hikes. Pure warmth - the hosts make all the difference! What a wonderful hotel! What made our holiday in South Tyrol so unique were the hosts. They are so warm and attentive that you feel welcome and completely at home from the very first moment. This personal touch and their willingness to help are unbeatable. The entire staff, following this example, is super friendly and service-oriented. We were also more than spoiled with the culinary delights. The food was a delight – regional, fresh produce, creatively prepared. The absolute highlight, however, was the homemade ice cream, a recommendation from the hosts that we happily followed every day. The rooms are spotlessly clean, very well-maintained, and comfortably furnished. You can feel the loving touch of the hosts everywhere. The location is also top-notch. Whether walking to the picturesque village center or to the hiking trails – everything is ideally accessible. Conclusion: We highly recommend this hotel! Above all, the hosts create an unforgettably beautiful atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

This was our third time here. It's a family-run hotel. Everything is perfect. A whirlpool and a lovely sauna area. The food is delicious. Everything is very clean.

We're currently hiking in South Tyrol again, and a visit to the Rösselwirt in Barbian is a must for us. Super friendly hosts, delicious ice cream, and an excellent freshly squeezed apple, carrot, and ginger juice. We're always impressed and are coming back today.
