Es ist eine tolle Familiere Atmosphäre, man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ruhig, obwohl das Hotel direkt am der Straße liegt. Das Frühstück vielseitig und reichlich. Das Abendessen hervorragend und wem es nicht reicht ,der bekommt einen Nachschlag. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

We spontaneously went here for lunch this afternoon. Even though it was 5 minutes before the kitchen closed, we received friendly service and excellent food. Highly recommended. Thank you, it was very good!

Class instead of quantity. We were more than satisfied. Very friendly and attentive service. We didn't have a reservation and got a table for two. As amuse-gueule we had homemade focaccia. Super delicious 😋. For the main course we had homemade Schlutzkrapfen filled with fresh spinach and parmesan. So delicious and perfectly balanced in taste. A big compliment to the chef. Price-performance ratio absolutely fine. Five stars from me and I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates very good home-made food.

We were able to spend a week at the Rösslwirt in Barbian and were really more than satisfied all around. From the first moment we felt super comfortable and at home. After the very nice welcome, where we were given hiking maps and various information material, we were able to go straight into the room. This was beautifully designed, had a great balcony, a nice bathroom, a comfortable bed and was very lovingly furnished. In the room and throughout the Rösslwirt you will always find the leaning tower of Barbian, which is the symbol of Barbian. There is also a hiking backpack in the room that you can borrow. The bathroom was also very nice and clean. Barbian itself is well connected by bus (which, like all other public transport, you can use free of charge with the South Tyrol Guest Pass) and you have endless opportunities to do beautiful things. The food at the Rösslwirt was really amazing. Both the very rich breakfast buffet and the evening meal. Here we pay great attention to freshness, regionality and sustainability. You can taste it too! There is also a great selection of delicious regional wines. The service was consistently super accommodating and friendly. The homemade ice cream in all variations is also very tasty. What we were also very happy about was the evening post, because it was on the table every evening with dinner. In addition to a weather report and general interesting information, great excursion destinations were also mentioned here, which also depended on the expected weather. The so-called “soul warmer corner” with sauna is also very lovingly designed and is perfect for relaxing. We will definitely never forget this holiday (which is also because we got engaged during this holiday) and are looking forward to being guests at the Rösswirt again soon :) I can only warmly recommend a visit to the Rösswirt to everyone!

Very nice holiday in a family-run hotel. Sustainability is very important here. I wasn't personally aware of it, but was reminded of it again by the Rösslwort. From the friendly staff to the super new savings area with sauna and super comfortable loungers. Starting point in great hiking areas and a great experience with the Klausencard

One week holiday with half board. Everything was perfect and we felt very comfortable. Great location with a view of the valley. The food is very good and regional. Very nice rooms. Underground parking is included. If the weather is bad, you can also relax in the sauna. It was a pleasure.

If you want to spend a nice time in a wonderful ambience, the Rösslwirt is the right place for you! We have been spending relaxing days there for many years. Very nice rooms, great view of the Val Gardena/Sciliar. Very good regional cuisine and super delicious homemade ice cream and, above all, the super nice owner family. Definitely a TOP recommendation. ******* stars from us. There is also an electric charging station! Bike rental.
