Was staying at an air bnb in the area, was looking for a dinner spot for the night and stumbled upon it. We ended up eating there 4 nights in a row! lol! The staff were so welcoming to us as my husband was practicing his Italian with them. On our last dinner there that trip - they gave us a parting gift (a comical restaurant calendar) Food was so delicious 10/10

Amazing all round. The food is incredible and the service is excellent. On our most recent visit they were technically fully booked, but managed to seat us anyway. Incredibly grateful and we'll be back when we're next in Rome. Grazie mille Ristorante Romolo e Romolo, per aver reso la nostra visita così speciale.

Beautiful surprise for a "wedding event" (small, about thirty people) eating delicious meat and fish and special artichokes (Giudia and Roman) See you soon!

Super cozy place with a good atmosphere. 😊 The staff was very friendly and gave us a seat even though we hadn't made a reservation in advance. The food was very good and came very quickly with good service along the way.

Absolutely recommended. When the waiter is a professional he knows how to joke while maintaining a distance, creating a family atmosphere together with the typical tavern decor. Roman restaurant, very Roman, I would certainly say Roman. The tradition, the warmth, the flavors of this environment are served with sobriety and lightness. High quality, absolutely no surprises, excellent desserts.

Piacevole scoperta. Ambiente rilassante e familiare. Buoni i fiori di zucca, ottima la carbonara. Staff attento e preparato. Sono molto gentili e ti mettono molto a tuo agio. Porzioni giuste, buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Prossima volta provo l’amatriciana.

Ristorante con due sale di datata esperienza, fuori dal giro turistico commerciale, si può mangiare ancora autentica cucina romana , prezzi nella media, buona qualità personale con esperienza. Da tornare.

01/03/2025: I'm writing a review as soon as I leave. It's my last day in Rome and I'm so sad to have found it now... There's an English menu, the guy speaks English well and the food is so delicious... If you're looking for an expensive restaurant near a tourist attraction with lots of reviews, go here. While we were eating, a lot of local people were coming in and eating a lot. For your information, I ate it and it was so delicious that I ordered more haha.

Osteria Del Borgo

24/02/2025: The Osteria del Borgo in Cesano is for those seeking Roman and Lazio tradition far from the chaos of the capital. This welcoming and characteristic restaurant offers authentic Roman cuisine, but with touches of creativity that make it even more interesting. From the classic tonnarelli cacio e pepe to revisited dishes such as the tonnarello cacio e pepe with truffle, really good, enriched by an intense and refined flavour. Also not to be missed is the mixed starter (as in the photo) perfect for sharing and savoring the typical flavors of the region in a single course. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the flavors and furnishings are typical of a local tavern that has well preserved the ancient traditions.
06/02/2025: I make this detour to eat and I must say, passed. If you happen to be in the area, it's worth a stop. I really liked the cutting board
