The food is so amazing here. The service is very friendly with several who speak English and do a great job explaining the dishes to help you order. There is also a lot of whine options.

Traditional food, in a quiet park. The waiter very attentive and friendly. The octopus is very delicious and for €13. The chops, perhaps a small quantity but consistent with the price (€15). Bread €3, but good quantity and artisanal

Food was ok. Fried artichokes were dry, pasta too al dente for me. Was super excited to try this place too. Maybe just an unlucky day.

Pretty good. They forgot my fried artichoke although I reminded them 3 times that it was missing. I was really looking forward to eating that fried artichoke.

12/08/2024: Rome 20 April 2024 - Osteria La Gattabuia in Trastevere was a real discovery! The welcoming and traditional atmosphere immediately won me over. The service was impeccable, the waiters always attentive and ready to recommend the best dishes. But let's get to the food: the carbonara was the best I've ever eaten, creamy and tasty just right. The cacio e pepe potatoes were simply divine! The quality/price ratio is excellent, considering the freshness of the ingredients and the generous portions. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of authentic Roman cuisine, especially those seeking a memorable dining experience in a convivial atmosphere."
05/08/2024: It's been a long time since I've appreciated a place in the center of Rome for any aspect. The food of the typical Roman cuisine was excellent and plentiful, the wine, the kindness and attention of the waiters and the owner, the characteristic place that makes you think of an ancient inn... what more can I say, we will definitely see each other again and in any case we will I'll do some great publicity.
