Not a place for tourists but for Romans, managed by a capable, kind and welcoming owner. Fair prices for eating on any occasion. I felt at ease and in a capable restaurant like once upon a time.

Nice atmosphere but poor quality food

This restaurant is in an area somewhat off the beaten path, which was perfect because we were looking for a more authentic experience, like the one locals experience in Rome. We had a reservation and were treated very well from the very first moment. The waiter was kind, friendly, and very attentive throughout the meal. It was quite hot that day, and we were offered the option of eating inside or outside; we opted to stay inside and were very comfortable, with a good temperature. The restaurant was spacious, clean, and had a very pleasant atmosphere. The bathrooms were also spotless. We loved the food. There were five of us, and everyone left very satisfied. I tried the rigatoni alla pajata, a very traditional dish that pleasantly surprised me: the combination of pasta and veal intestines was delicious, very flavorful, and well prepared. Afterwards, I ordered the maialino porchettato, very tender and juicy pork, which paired perfectly with a squeeze of lemon on top. To close, we shared the house tiramisu, which was spectacular: creamy, with the perfect balance of coffee, cocoa, and mascarpone. Without a doubt, one of the best tiramisus I've ever had. A highly recommended restaurant if you're looking for authentic Roman food, a great atmosphere, and friendly service.

Went here twice in the 5 days we were in Rome. Great food, good prices, good service.

I have tried appetizers, first courses and desserts. Always well done - first courses and desserts in particular - and served quickly. Both in winter and summer, I recommend booking because it is often very crowded. In summer it is better outside.

For Easter lunch with a ready-made Easter starter (other varieties of starters are also possible). First and second courses with a choice of Roman dishes - meat or fish. Wide choice of desserts and also various Calabrian truffle flavours. Good house wine (still or sparkling). Friendly staff and despite often being full the service is fast. Also available outdoors. Reservation recommended.

Pranzo di compleanno, ci siamo incontrati in 16, di domenica, nonostante il oocale fosse pieno siamo stati serviti con gentilezza e velocemente. Buina trattoria romana, ottimi I fritti. Buonissimi i carciofi, oltre naturalmente i classici romaneschi

Piacevole scoperta. Ambiente rilassante e familiare. Buoni i fiori di zucca, ottima la carbonara. Staff attento e preparato. Sono molto gentili e ti mettono molto a tuo agio. Porzioni giuste, buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Prossima volta provo l’amatriciana.
