I recommend the lasagna without any doubt, it was brutal, the only thing is that the portions are fair, more oriented to dinner than lunch.

Forse perché un poco lontano dal centro, ma è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa in quanto abbiamo trovato piatti tipicamente romani, cucinati alla perfezione, e con abbinamenti un po' diversi dai soliti menù turistici. I carciofi in ogni forma sono stati graditi anche da chi normalmente non li apprezza. Prezzo in linea con la qualità

For Easter lunch with a ready-made Easter starter (other varieties of starters are also possible). First and second courses with a choice of Roman dishes - meat or fish. Wide choice of desserts and also various Calabrian truffle flavours. Good house wine (still or sparkling). Friendly staff and despite often being full the service is fast. Also available outdoors. Reservation recommended.

Ci sono capitato per caso rientrando in hotel. Sulla lavagnetta esterna al locale c’era scritto “carbonara buona - ricetta speciale” e non ho indugiato oltre per entrare. Ambiente caldo e accogliente tipico della trattoria romana. Personale cordiale e molto professionale. Il titolare un vulcano: coordinava tutte le operazione con l’evidente esperienza di chi fa il ristoratore da una vita. Dopo aver gustato la bontà dei piatti proposti (ho assaggiato nelle varie serate che sono seguite sia carbonara che grigia, polpette e una sera un petto di pollo grigliato) e’ stato il mio punto di riferimento per tutto il mio soggiorno nella Capitale. Porzioni regolari/abbondanti, prezzi nella norma.

Ripa 12

06/09/2025: Exquisite food. After five days of questionable Spanish food, coming here was a real treat. I highly recommend the cacio e pepe, delicious. The owner and staff are excellent. I'll definitely be back. 🫶
06/09/2025: Today I ate at Ripa 12 in Trastevere, recommended by a friend. Here are a few points: 1. First-class hospitality 2. Very well-organized tables 3. Menus featuring the freshest seafood 4. Extremely professional and courteous service 5. Excellently cooked food 6. Prices are very reasonable, compared to those of high-end restaurants. Thank you for the hospitality and, above all, for the good food, which is not easy to find in Rome's historic center. I recommend it; it's truly worth it. I'll gladly return. Thank you for everything. I forgot to mention the desserts, which are exceptional, all homemade.
