Romanè In Roma

We were in Rome for four days and had rented an Airbnb in the neighborhood. On our first evening, we didn't want to drive around after dinner, so we tried this place without a reservation. The waiters showed us a table, and we were intrigued. We chose the menu and had to navigate a bit, which was due to the language and our translation. The waiters were friendly and helpful. We HAD to eat carbonara; we'd been looking forward to it at home. It was AMAZING! So amazing that our son doesn't want to eat it in Germany anymore. The entire menu was REALLY delicious, and there's nothing to complain about. The creme brulee was fantastic and the perfect end to a wonderful evening. We would come again.

Stefano Callegari is now a trusted name when it comes to fine dining. At Romanè, you'll find expertly prepared Roman cuisine, including some creations like tortellino pasta that you simply can't miss. Another must-try dish is the chicken cacciatore. Romanè is highly recommended.

Mind blowingly good food! I get the bib gourmond rating by Michelin. Portions are generous and ingredient quality is high. The service is kind and efficient. They don't make you feel rushed. This is a must try for some traditional Roman food as well as some contemporary flare. Will recommend to all my friends as a top 5 in Rome, which is no easy feat.

I'd heard good things about it, and I can honestly say it's an excellent restaurant. The carbonara is amazing, and the rigatoni with oxtail sauce is mouth-watering! The chicken cacciatore is also very good... and the staff is incredibly friendly!

I'll start by saying that I'm not a health conscious person—I eat pretty much everything—but the carbonara was way too heavy. It was tasty for the first few bites, but it was a struggle to finish. The Lavazza coffee pods aren't the best for a restaurant. The service and ambiance are okay.

Coming on the recommendation of the Michelin guide, we were not disappointed at all. The dining room is beautiful and welcoming, the service is very professional, and the advice and recommendations are kind (they save you from paying extra like other restaurants do). And above all, the food is high-quality, without frills, and faithful to what you expect to taste when talking about Italian cuisine (generosity, authenticity, and quality ingredients, with perfectly cooked pasta).

Nice spot in Rome with delicious pasta dishes. Very friendly staff and cute indoor decor. The pasta with oxtail sauce was fantastic. Large selection of wines.
