Romanè In Roma

I'd heard so much about it, and finally the right opportunity arose to dine at Romanè. The atmosphere is elegant and simple, and the dishes are generous and high-quality. The artichoke alla Giulia, the pasta with oxtail ragù, and the breaded fetta were excellent.

I had dinner at this restaurant, and all the dishes were excellent! We had an appetizer for two, then two main courses and two side dishes. The main courses were truly high-quality. A great experience, I'd go back.

They welcomed us on a Sunday without a reservation; the sun allowed us to sit outside. We had two appetizers (the boiled meatballs), both excellent and well-balanced, two bottles of water, a liter of house red wine, two amatriciana pasta dishes (I can't begin to describe how delicious and filling they were, they were hearty), one carbonara (made properly, Roman-Roman), and two coffees. All this for four of us, the bill was around €100. What more can I say? Perfect. We'll definitely be back.

A very good place to eat, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the Vatican.

The food was truly excellent, as was the service. The place is small and reservations are required, but you won't be disappointed. There's an hourly parking garage just steps away. I'd say it was a truly lovely evening.

Excellent place, we ate divinely. The artichoke appetizers were delicious. The club (a turkey leg), besides being enormous in size, was cooked incredibly well. The dessert selection was also very nice. The waiters were extremely friendly. Definitely recommended.

Excellent traditional Roman cuisine, especially the carbonara. In a casual atmosphere, the service is friendly and attentive.

We were in Rome for a few days, and this was the only place we went back to eat twice! In our opinion, it was the best carbonara we've ever tried, truly delicious! The pasta with broccoli is phenomenal; I fell in love with it and highly recommend it! Not to mention the excellent service, professional and attentive to every detail. The second time we were served by the clean-shaven guy with the plugs, as well as one of the girls (unfortunately, I didn't ask their names, but I wanted to compliment them both), but they were all truly excellent, kind, and attentive to every detail. (I asked the girl for information on some shops, and she was incredibly kind, and the next time she remembered me right away and asked me how it went—really sweet.) We'll definitely be back as soon as we're in Rome again, highly recommended. Compliments to the dining room and kitchen! (P.S. Excellent wine list; we only ordered it the first time, and they had a wide selection of excellent wines.)

One of the best places in Rome. Comfortable atmosphere, cheerful and attentive staff, generous portions. Special mention for the ricotta and sour cherries: fantastic!
