I had lunch with friends at midday. Excellent Sicilian cuisine. The pasta alla norma and cannoli were excellent. The atmosphere was also beautiful, with its typical Sicilian colors and designs.

We spent New Year's Eve in Rapallo with some friends. We had lunch and dinner there several times. Let's start with the incredibly good food. Caponata, raw fish, pasta, to name a few dishes. Everything was fresh and beautifully cooked. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Giovanni, the owner, is incredibly attentive and never misses an opportunity to amaze you. What can I say? Congratulations, thank you for the hospitality and the excellent food.

Lunch on the terrace in early November! We chose the €60 set menu, which was delicious from start to finish. Everything is homemade (focaccia, pasta, chutney). The service was excellent, warm, and efficient. We highly recommend this restaurant, which deserves more than 4.5 stars! The manager, Giovanni, is very accommodating.

Excellent food and friendly service. Everything seems to be freshly prepared. The caponata appetizer and the Fritto Misto di Mare were delicious. The pasta al pesto was one of the best I've ever tasted, and they even had the thoughtfulness to offer a small lemon granita to cleanse the palate. A wonderful experience!

16/11/2025: We ate very well, generous portions from appetizer to dessert, and the pansoti deserve an honorable mention! The staff was very kind and patient with our huge group (despite our arrival after 1:30 PM), and I sincerely thank the lady who was very attentive to our needs, even during the reservation process, making sure everything was perfect. Excellent value for money! Everyone was happy and satisfied, thanks for the beautiful day! PS: The fireplace on a gloomy day was a real added touch.
30/08/2025: Typical Ligurian cuisine with classic trattoria dishes but very good, courteous and very fast service and characteristic rustic place, in short the typical trattoria of the past with excellent prices 👍👏👏👏

Lo Scalo

05/02/2026: The pizza is traditional, with a thin crust that takes a maximum of 30 minutes to digest. Some Neapolitan customers at the next table were annoying. Not because of the accent, mind you. Still, it's worth repeating with the right people next door.
10/12/2025: A very nice place, with excellent cuisine with a distinct Sicilian influence. Try the tagliolini with Trapani pesto, tuna tartare (see photo) and bottarga, and the cassata. The pizzas are very good, generous, and original. A wide and carefully selected wine list. The service is a shame; it's decidedly inattentive, if not downright lazy.
