RivaMia In Riva del garda

I'll start by saying that the so-called meat "raviolacci" taken in this place were among the best ravioli dishes I've ever eaten: cooked perfectly al dente, well filled, seasoned with the right amount of aromatic herbs. Out of curiosity, since we didn't know it, we also took a Gröstel (with eggs and speck), a typical Trentino dish: very good, but I warn you, also very filling. There are so many variations on offer, so there is something for everyone. The cut of cold cuts and cheeses as a starter was good, while the cheesecake was less good, it had an excessively sweet cream on top, almost like a frosting. Courteous and helpful staff.

Outstanding Italian cuisine, there are a lot of restaurants in Riva, but this one charmed us the most, first of all, it is open in the season at times when a tourist, e.g. from Poland like me, wants to eat dinner, many local restaurants open in the season around 6-7 p.m., which has its justification, they serve wonderful, carefully prepared dishes with fresh ingredients and at the end you have to wait literally a moment for your dish, and the service is wonderful, so during our 2-week stay we ate mainly in the wonderful Riva Mia🔥💖

All of my complaints are about food. Service was great, bar was rly good. Cocktails were nice and tasty. We ordered greek salad, pasta penne with tuna and minestrone. Salad was okay, nothing special, but fine. 4/5. Pasta was literally from supermarket, fish tasted like anything but tuna, 2/5. Minestrone was really weird. Tasted like if veggies would have been from freezer. 2/5. For the price we payed the experience was really poor, unfortunately. While bar and service were good.

Attirati dalle recensioni positive, io e il mio compagno abbiamo scelto questo locale per cenare. Non serve prenotare perché il ricambio dei tavoli è molto veloce, idem il servizio. È un locale prettamente turistico, quindi nessun piatto tipico del posto, ma un menù comune, che accontenta un po' tutti. Abbiamo ordinato un primo di pesce e uno di terra, ma erano entrambi poco gustosi, poco sapidi, piatti che si possono fare benissimo a casa. A seguire abbiamo preso una frittura mista, semplice, buona, peccato per il gamberone che aveva l'intestino in bella vista.. visto che hanno tagliato il carapace per favorire l'apertura, potevano anche togliere l'intestino. Prezzo alto, per la qualità dei piatti. Peccato, perché le recensioni invogliano molto, ma la qualità dei piatti non vale abbastanza.

C'eravamo stati lo scorso inverno, che dire locale carino personale gentile e i piatti sono buoni per carità, ma sta volta non mi sono piaciute due cose, abbiamo ordinato un tagliere di formaggi per carità molto buoni, però sarebbe stato carino che il cameriere ci spiegasse i vari tipi di formaggi, e poi come primo ho preso delle tagliatelle con gamberetti, peccato che alla fine erano dei gamberetti molto grandi.... E anche il prezzo del primo sinceramente l'ho trovato un po' eccessivo, infatti un tagliere due primi acqua e due caffè 60€.... Premetto non abbiamo mangiato male anzi, ma sicuramente c'è qualcosa da migliorare...
