Everything was excellent! Delicious appetizers, good Buchteln and Studel (traditional German sausages)! Great atmosphere!

I'm giving it 5* because I can't rate the tavern, and the owner probably can't help it. Once we got there, we realized we had to pay to enter the castle. We just wanted a quick bite to eat... what a shame.

It was very nice after touring the castle. You can sit comfortably in the castle courtyard and relax. Prices weren't excessive. A Spritz for €5.60 is quite reasonable. Coffee is also reasonably priced. Highly recommended for a short trip.

22/09/2025: Very nice accommodation with great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The room was modern and very clean. The bathroom was also top-notch and very clean. The pizza was excellent, and overall, the pizzeria with the millstones had a very nice atmosphere. Why only 4 stars? Because we always needed a car to get to our planned vacation destinations. But if you want to explore the nature park, this is an excellent place to stay. We would still be happy to come back, just with different destinations :-)
29/08/2025: Very nice service! We were here for dinner. The pizza was amazing! One of the best and biggest we've ever eaten! We'll definitely be back.

09/01/2026: We returned after a year for a ski holiday. We found the same comforts at this hotel that had made us feel so welcome the previous winter: professionalism and courtesy from all the staff, excellent and plentiful food. The room was spacious and functional, and the location and view were ideal. Thank you!
23/09/2025: Once a magical place with prompt service and an excellent selection of pastries, today the service is mediocre and the selection is limited and not as excellent as it once was. I've been going to this pastry shop for 35 years, and I speak with full knowledge of the facts.
