A local spot where you feel welcomed and at home. It is a vibe, especially with the view. People come and go, and you quickly understand that they are usuals. The owner/staff was so kind. We had a nice exchange despite speaking very little italian.

A place "like it used to be." The 5 stars refer to this characteristic...a return to the old "dives" where kindness and simplicity reign supreme. A delicious snack with a stunning view (if you sit at the tables in the courtyard), which in the evening offers a light show of the city below...for those who love simplicity, this is the ideal place.

Pizzeria Del Sole Piacenza

27/07/2025: A historic location in Piacenza that I'd never been to until last night. We were looking for a post-cinema snack, and I finally had the chance to try it. The place is small and simple, almost spartan. With a few neon lights and friendly staff, the first impression was already good. We arrived just in time to get the last slices of pizza of the day, and I can say they were excellent. Thin crust, as they like here in Piacenza, I found it soft and delicious when reheated. Enjoying it on the public promenade at odd hours could become a new passion of mine. Now I understand why this pizzeria on Corso Vittorio Emanuele has never gone out of style among its loyal customers. Sometimes the winning formula lies in simplicity.

Agriturismo Bacchanalis

10/01/2026: Tried it by chance after seeing a post on Facebook. What can I say... If you want to enjoy a lunch (or dinner) surrounded by nature, authentic flavors, and the fresh mountain air, the "Al Bacchanalis" farmhouse is just right for you! The typical Piacenza dishes (like pisarei or lean ravioli), the homemade pasta, the DOP cured meat platter, the artisanal desserts, and the wines are excellent. The staff was incredibly kind. My only regret was that a place like this was not very crowded (which can be a good thing in some cases!). It's definitely worth considering. Thank you ❤️
09/01/2026: Beautiful agriturismo: very simple and elegant furnishings, with clean lines. Spotlessly clean and everything new. Compliments on the food, mouth-watering! The braised beef was superb, as were the gnocco fritto and tortelli! We'll be back!
