Located just steps from the medieval historic center, this welcoming restaurant serves truly delicious food, especially the first courses. Service was prompt, despite the restaurant being packed. Prices are slightly above average, but I would improve the dining room service, which is a bit too cold.

A unique experience!! I brought my partner on the recommendation of a friend, and I must say that her expectations were met!! Excellent welcome, well-kept and maintained place!! Not to mention the food, amazing. We had a chestnut tart. Excellent!! And I speak as a producer and processor of chestnuts :). The pappardelle with wild boar in white sauce... try it to understand how delicious this dish is!! The desserts are equally delicious. I must say that we will definitely be back!! Recommended!!

Typical local restaurant, good first courses, and definitely high-quality ingredients. The first courses were quite tasty and the portions were appropriate (I was offered something off-menu: pappardelle with wild boar, which was really good). The second courses (meat) were average...in my opinion, there's not much choice, even in the variations...but the meat was genuine. Service was a bit lacking...very cold...the table was unlined, only with disposable napkins, which I don't think is appropriate for this type of establishment! The place was cold despite the fireplace and several kerosene heaters...it's definitely not a 5-star establishment...but overall, it's okay. For reference: the average cost is about €30/person for a first course, second course, and water, without dessert or wine.

Among the dishes I tried, the fresh pasta with ragù was a real surprise: flavorful and well-balanced. The beef braised in red wine was also perfectly cooked, tender, and rich in flavor. The homemade desserts are a must, especially the torta della nonna, a true comfort food. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and quantity of the dishes. Perfect for those who want to enjoy home-style cuisine, with simple yet flavorful dishes.
