I have to give a 10+ rating to the Maiutoghi restaurant in Oliena even though it deserves more for everything from the welcome to the service to the carefully prepared dishes and the typical products, many types of wines especially those from the Oliena cellars, the nepente and the purpura are truly excellent compliments for the decor and for the delicious first course of spaghetti with squid ink with truly special artichokes and bottarga.

Un locale molto carino che a mio parere combina molto bene un'atmosfera raffinata ed elegante con un'estetica rustica e tradizionale. Ottima cucina e anche ottimo servizio. Consiglio vivamente sia a chi volesse passare una serata elegante, sia a chi volesse provare dei piatti tipici del luogo, preparati con tutta la cura e attenzione necessaria.

Davvero nulla da dire, cibo ottimo e locale caratteristico. Oltre che il cibo ho apprezzato particolarmente la collezione di quadri di artisti e artiste sardi. Non vedo l'ora di tornare con la mia compagna!

12/07/2025: A neat and well-organized establishment. The staff is friendly and helpful. The owners are professional and attentive to their customers. The restaurant is good, with a wide selection of menu options. Importantly, the beach is accessible to people with disabilities, with a dedicated platform. This alone is a plus for this establishment. I highly recommend it. Raffaella
02/07/2025: All in all a nice place facing the huge beach there is a lot of space We have been coming to Caletta for several years even just touch and run, bathrooms to be reviewed, improved, I must say that it has become more expensive in general for the structure in place today 2023 2025. Few good dishes in general when crowded perhaps made in a hurry .... In issuing the receipt the dishes purchased were not detailed, I was a bit left so 28 euros for a 400g sea bass - 2023 seems exaggerated to me. Friendly staff. The charm of eating on the beach remains. They have increased the prices 2025

16/07/2025: Excellent food and generous portions. The homemade ravioli are top-notch. The honey in the sevadas is second to none. The place is very clean and welcoming, with very fast service. We also had the pleasure of meeting Giuseppe, the owner, who made us feel right at home. We hope to return (perhaps for the May Day celebrations).
16/07/2025: Stopped off for lunch here and the food is outstanding (bear in mind no pizzas until the evening). I had a seafood pasta dish recommended by the very friendly and welcoming waiter and it was fantastic. Nice quiet atmosphere and relatively cool inside too.
