A rainy autumn day pleasantly spent in the Nuoro area with a stop for lunch in the Maiutoghi restaurant where we tasted typical local food, beautifully cooked, plentiful and really good. Compliments!!!!

We came across it by chance but it was a real surprise, very nice place, welcoming and very kind staff, exquisite dishes, absolutely recommended, traditional Sardinian dishes with a touch of refinement.

The venue is beautiful! Truly a pleasure to dine there! The service is very professional and kind and the food simply delicious!
We had: 2 goat's kisses (a spectacular fresh cheese), 2 portions of potato and fennel meatballs whose name unfortunately escapes me, ravioli filled with cheese with wild boar ragout and a roast cockerel + potatoes.
A dessert, coffee and bitters, water, a beer and a spritz for €106 in total. Right portions. Well done

What can I say, a perfect lunch to say the least, from the moment of arrival until the bill everything was impeccable.... Even though we made a request outside the menu, i.e. a round of mixed land appetizers not included in the menu, the owner had no problem whatsoever. he satisfied us.... the only advice is to go well equipped with a lot of hunger because the courses are truly plentiful!!! We will be back.... see you soon ps the porcini mushrooms 10+++++

We were greeted very kindly by the two waiters, who served us from start to finish. During lunch we noticed that a gentleman, perhaps the owner, passed between the tables and began to literally take orders from their hands and write in their place, interrupting their work; I didn't think it was respectful to the waiters. We paid €70 for a half portion of starter, a first course, a second course, two coffees and a half liter of house wine; the food is good but the price is not justified (3 euros each for a cover charge, also not justified), at the checkout a lady beat us to something that we hadn't taken and then blamed it on the waiter. Well, we didn't like the mood and the high prices for what we got.
