Ristorantino L'Amuri In San vito lo capo

Consigliato dalla proprietaria del B&B e confortato dalle recensioni di TripAdvisor, abbiamo prenotato per una cena. Locale ordinato appena fuori dal centro storico, personale abbastanza sveglio (soprattutto la ragazza). Antipasti ottimi, anche se uno dei camerieri alla domanda come è era fatto lo Scrigno di Affumicati di mare ha replicato semplicemente: “ci sono gli affumicati e poi quello che c’è scritto nel menù” (?!?!). Sui primi purtroppo non ho riscontrato grandi sapori: gli spaghetti con i gamberi, la stracciatella e una crema al profumo di basilico innanzitutto non erano spaghetti ma spaghettoni e poi non avevano un gran sapore per la predominanza della stracciatella; il calamaro con le melanzane era gommoso. Peccato, perché gli altri piatti (busiate allo spada con melanzane e involtini di spada) a dir degli altri commensali erano ok. Si può migliorare.

Abbiamo cenato con un antipasto di crudo di mare, buono ma non molto abbondante (anche rispetto ad altri ristoranti provati in zona). Nudista gambero e crema di limone buona generosa in quantità; cous cous un po’ deludente, troppo speziato. Rapporto qualità prezzo non equilibrato, conto un po’ altino. Una stella in meno perché non siamo riusciti a pagare con la carta e siamo dovuti andare a prelevare al pos più vicino.

Well-kept and welcoming place, delicious and well-plated food, good service and the price is right in my opinion. I highly recommend it and will always happily return.

When you think of the ideal restaurant you imagine: delicious dishes that stimulate the imagination, excellent raw materials, a good quality/price ratio, manual preparation and interesting plating with satisfying portions. Attentive but not intrusive service. We have been several times and will certainly return. The starters are good, the first courses are good, the second courses are good, the desserts are good. Difficult to choose but if I were limited to just one course I would opt for the Stuffed Calamaro

Amuri is a good little restaurant located a few steps from the center of San Vito Lo Capo. The location is nice, the staff friendly and helpful. I find the choice on the menu limited and very simple, the dishes are well presented. The starters are average, the first courses are good and plentiful. Price quality ok!

We discovered this place by pure chance, recommended by Leo from the San Vito lo Capo beach. After booking, on our way back from the sea, we stopped for dinner on our last evening in San Vito. We had a positive and unforgettable experience: The food, from the appetizers to the final dessert, was a culinary journey worthy of Sicilian cuisine, dishes with attention to the smallest details, and with excellent quality raw materials. All accompanied by a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, made possible above all thanks to the owners and all the staff who made us feel as if we were at home, kind, friendly and professional. If we were to return to San Vito, this place will be an obligatory stop. Be wary of other over-hyped restaurants in the area as they don't actually offer the much-vaunted quality of food. We had dinner outside, despite the passage of many people in the street the place was quiet. The service was fast and friendly. The highlight is the quality and goodness of the dishes, abundant and with fantastic local flavours. Price normal. Telephone booking is recommended.

Booked with The fork. Price quality based on experience ok here we go. Quick service, friendly staff. Busiate with aubergines, swordfish, cherry tomatoes, mint, good. Good and tender cut of beef. Right portion.
