The Zocca hotel and restaurant is located in a very quiet and scenic area; its style could be described as retro, and for this very reason, it's so distinctive. As soon as we entered, we could smell a wonderful, clean scent that wafted through the hallways and into the rooms. We stayed in a welcoming, extremely clean room equipped with everything we needed. The food was homely and delicious. We'd like to compliment the management on their meticulous attention to detail, which is not a given, and thank the restaurant staff for their kindness and helpfulness. We will definitely return with our children. Marianna and Luigi.

We stayed at the Hotel Funicolare as a couple for a few days and discovered the restaurant while taking our dog for a walk. It was quite late, but the blonde young lady was very friendly and still set the table especially for us. The food on all three evenings was really delicious 😋 I'd say it was hearty, home-cooked Italian food, even if the portions are a bit smaller, but it's also cheaper. The dessert is homemade and impressive 👌 It was very quiet there, unless there was someone sitting next to you who was loud. Although the lady was afraid of dogs because of a recent incident, our dog (knee-high) was welcome there. The WiFi is quite strong here. There is also plenty of parking. We can't comment on the rooms or the breakfast, but it's definitely worth a try.

Very quiet hotel, in a strategic position for the view of Lake Lugano. Very clean rooms and common areas, a little dated but not old and worn at all. Pleasant relaxing stay.

Just yesterday I had lunch at their place. Excellent restaurant. Tasty dishes well served and very helpful and professional staff. I highly recommend it, adequate quality and price.

Devo tornare x ristorante...le premesse sono buone😉 ah...rapp qualità prezzo ottimo... Come promesso sono tornato per provare anche il ristorante e devo dire che sono rimasto soddisfatto...spaghetti frutti di mare eccellenti al cartoccio...insomma val la pena venire a fare un giro sin da Milano per trovare cortesia simpatia qualità e....perche no...prezzi giusti. Bravi Febbraio 2021...Oramai sono anni che sono un affezionato Cliente.
