It was a pleasure to stay here at the end of our vacation. Stayed here for three night at the end of May. The staffs was fantastic, beautiful scenery, and overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location! Basic but well-organized rooms! Friendly staff Good food, the only small flaw being that the cuisine is a bit too standard! Excellent motorcycle parking.

I stayed for a few days with my husband and our dog in this wonderful structure. Clean and spacious rooms, very well-kept outdoor space and breathtaking view. The staff is very kind and helpful, dogs are welcomed very well and can come with you to dinner and breakfast. Breakfast and dinners are really excellent with a lot of choice also for vegetarians or for those with food intolerances. What can I say: highly recommended, we hope to be able to return soon.

Mornings were a highlight—waking up to a peaceful mountain view and enjoying a good breakfast with plenty of fresh options to start the day right. What truly sets this place apart is the breathtaking scenery all around. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the terrace or simply looking out the window, the views of the Dolomites are unforgettable. A quiet, refreshing escape in nature—highly recommended if you’re looking for comfort, calm, affordable, and clean hospitality. 🌿🏞️🛏️🍳

The hotel is located at approximately 1080 meters above sea level on the sunny Ritten plateau, offering unobstructed views of Dolomite peaks such as the Sciliar, Catinaccio, and Latemar, and only 20 kilometers from Bozen. The location is absolutely top-notch in terms of views and tranquility, but the many switchbacks from the main road are worth it. Dinner was okay, but felt more like southern Italian cuisine than South Tyrol. Breakfast was also perfectly adequate, organized as a classic hotel buffet.

07/07/2025: Highly recommended – warm hospitality and perfect service at the Hotel Terzer We spent two nights at the Hotel Terzer and felt completely at home. We received a warm welcome right from the start – the host is extremely attentive, friendly, and truly dedicated. You immediately sense the passion that goes into running the place. The modern wellness area deserves special mention; it was just what we needed after a long day on the bike: well-maintained, thoughtfully designed, and wonderfully relaxing. The personal service was also exceptional – from breakfast to the last question, everything was individually addressed. We particularly appreciated the valuable recommendations for our onward bikepacking tour – routes, tips for refreshment stops, and information were perfectly tailored to our needs. We would have loved to stay longer and can warmly recommend the Hotel Terzer to anyone – whether passing through, on an active holiday, or just for relaxation. A place with character, comfort, and genuine warmth.

21/07/2025: I can't say I had a bad meal, but perhaps I expected a little more. This restaurant has had a reputation for being excellent for decades, but after this dinner, I'd put it in the mid-range category. Positive notes: the service. The staff were very attentive and courteous. The grilled shrimp were delicious. Negative notes: the tartare was served unseasoned. Not all guests are capable of properly seasoning a tartare. I would suggest having someone on the staff season it at the table, asking the guest's preferences. They then had the customer taste it before serving. Another sore point was the desserts. €10.50 for a coffee cream with amaretto brittle, a truly mediocre dessert. The portion was small and too much gelatine. Unfortunately, very few restaurants these days are capable of producing a dessert that lives up to the quality of their main courses.
05/07/2025: Excellent steak and friendly service! I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant today, and I have to say, it was an absolutely outstanding experience! The steak was simply perfect—cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of flavor. One of the best I've ever eaten. What truly made the visit unforgettable, however, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating without being intrusive. You felt welcome and well-cared for from the very first moment. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!
