Ristorante Vecchia Silvi In Silvi

The place feels warm and welcoming, yet has a very vintage feel. Our last guest arrived at 9 PM, and after ordering shortly thereafter, we were served appetizers at 10 PM and main courses at approximately 10:40 PM, after everyone had ordered the same course: a platter and mixed roast. The restaurant manager/owner was friendly and polite, but the waitress who served us was a bit too casual. I'll start by saying that I'm all for simplicity and cheerfulness, especially in the village, but let's avoid describing dishes to customers with food still in their mouths, and above all, let's remember to bring drinks if the place is half-empty. Luckily, the cured meats and meat were truly delicious, although after the long wait, we would have preferred slightly larger portions for the bill. I'd avoid classifying half a potato per person as a side dish and charging so much for it, because despite the quality of the food, the timing, the service, and the size of the portions, at a whopping €33, made this experience forgettable and unrepeatable. Silvi Alta is a beautiful place, but like many towns in Abruzzo, it clearly needs to learn how to treat its guests. If we continue like this, we can forget about tourism, and I say this as a proud Abruzzese.

A lovely restaurant in Silvi Alta, with a terrace overlooking the sea and hills. Delicious food, excellent cured meats, cheeses, and arrosticini. From nearby tables, I saw homemade pasta dishes, prompting exclamations of appreciation! The house wine, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, is superb. Attentive and friendly staff.

A very charming and quaint place with a view of the Abruzzo coast. We had a wonderful dinner with delicious traditional dishes. We were completely satisfied. The prices were fair. Highly recommended.

Very nice atmosphere with a breathtaking view of the hills and the Abruzzo coast. Excellent food, especially the first courses, which are all homemade. The second courses are also good quality. The prices are reasonable for the location. However, the service was extremely slow, with long waits and often inattentive waiters (they forgot to bring a first course, and we had to ask for water or the bill several times before receiving them).

Foods are good. Atmosphere and view are nice. I was sad for the stuff, they worked never stopped. Restaurants need more waiters for sure. Be ready to wait long time here. They serve excellent hot bread but where is the olive oil or butter 🤷🏻‍♂️

Il ristorante ha un patio esterno con veranda e tettoia in legno, da cui la sera si gode di un bellissimo tramonto. Il servizio fantastico con camerieri simpatici e disponibilissimi. I piatti favolosi con accurato impiattamento e materie di prima qualità.I primi fatti in casa e ottimi. Non so più che aggettivi usare. Il rapporto qualità prezzo insuperabile, signori vi invito ad andarci , rimarrete di stucco
