Good food...like it used to be...

I came in for a cup of hot tea, so I only used the bar. The location is perfect, just steps from the sanctuary. The bar is very small, with a few tables inside. The staff was very friendly, and the prices seemed very reasonable.

A historic family-run trattoria that has maintained its traditions and service. Always crowded with Sunday tourists and loyal diners, it offers classic dishes such as polenta concia di Oropa and hot and cold appetizers, but the menu often expands with seasonal innovations. Meat is a mainstay (the owner is a farmer). Simple and essential service. The restaurant is suitable for noisy groups, so the buzz can often be a bit distracting.

Excellent restaurant, the food is very good and the price is right. I highly recommend it. The polenta concia is amazing!!!! Super good!!!!

I went there with my friends after visiting Oropa. One of my friends has a milk protein allergy, and the waiters were quick to find a solution and list the foods he could eat (usually they're not this quick). The food was delicious and the prices were affordable (about €20 per person with an appetizer, first course, and dessert).

The food is really good at reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly. The only downside: it's always busy, and you always have to make a reservation, especially on holidays.
