14/08/2024: Really beautiful location but the same cannot be said about the cuisine. I added some photos of things we ordered and they reach the sufficiency as far as I'm concerned. Pretty good meatballs. Octopus (which was octopus) cooked really badly, as you can see from the photo; the flavor of the accompanying sauce was truly horrendous. Pasta with a sauce that tasted the same as a sauce I ate in Ukraine, the kitchen has probably never seen an Italian chef and it shows all in the dishes. Pre-cooked pasta that shouldn't be there in an à la carte restaurant. Clearly the restaurant works with tourists and not with locals, to be clear, the tourist comes once and never comes back. I am 30 minutes from Matera and I guarantee that I will return and recommend it.
