We ate last night with my boyfriend. Excellent local food, good and tasty, generous portions. But the best part is the impeccable service, attentive and friendly, an increasingly rare find in my personal experience. Congratulations to everyone!

Traditional restaurant in Alghero. An authentic, less touristy place. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, and the service is fantastic. Highly recommended.

We had dinner at this restaurant last night. The food was good and the service excellent. The only downside, a very significant one for me, was the rude and cold attitude of the owner (I think), who snapped at us for our late arrival. We had actually arrived in Alghero at 8:00 PM and had a reservation for 8:30 PM, but it took us 50 minutes to find a parking spot. It's true that we didn't warn them about the delay, but the gentleman, in front of other customers, gave us a truly unpleasant reprimand. It's a shame, because the restaurant truly deserves it.

A decent place with quality. I didn't particularly like the culurgiones, but that's a personal preference; I expected them to be something else.

Trattoria Maristella: Authentic, Retro, and with Potential Dinner for three at Trattoria Maristella, in the heart of Alghero. A friendly welcome, a true trattoria atmosphere, and waiters in classic uniforms (white shirts, black pants, and bow ties). The menu includes handwritten notes, some of which are barely legible—a detail that could be improved. We order an Anemone di Sella & Mosca rosé, water, and start with fried anemones (sea anemones): crispy and flavorful. Followed by: Chef's spaghetti with squid, shrimp, scampi, and orange zest: successful, balanced combinations. Compliments to the chef! Spaghetti with sea urchins: flavorful, true to tradition. Culurgiones: well-balanced filling, a shame about the slightly undercooked portion. Grilled squid: good but lacking in sparkle. Fried calamari: tender but a bit rubbery, probably due to the oil not being hot enough. Desserts: Seadas with too much honey on top and bottom, which covered the other flavors; a revisited tiramisu with zabaglione, good but too much coffee at the bottom. A negative note on the service: when asked about the ingredients and preparation of the tiramisu, the waiter replied that it was "classic," ignoring the zabaglione. Only after my observation did he ask a colleague for confirmation. A detail that weighs on the experience. In summary: authentic cuisine, a retro and non-touristy atmosphere, appropriate portions, and well-conceived dishes. With small adjustments (a more refined menu, greater precision in the dining room), it can express even more potential. Approved.

Ho assaggiato gli spaghetti all’algherese : devo dire che è stata una piacevole sorpresa. I sapori erano ben amalgamati e la posizione molto abbondante. Il pedonale di sala è stato molto cordiale e puntuale nel soddisfare le richieste del cliente. Lo consiglio a chi cerca un locale senza grandi pretese non turistico nelle vie del centro.

Appena arrivati da Maristella a Varsavia, siamo stati accolti con un calore sincero da tutto il personale, preparato e gentilissimo. L’atmosfera ci ha subito riportato in Italia, e non solo per l’ambiente, ma per quella sensazione rara di sentirsi davvero a casa. Un grazie speciale alla proprietaria e Lady Chef Edyta, che ci ha accompagnato in un viaggio culinario sorprendente: un mix perfetto di piatti ucraini, polacchi e italiani. Ogni portata raccontava una storia fatta di passione, cultura e materie prime di altissima qualità. Il tutto presentato con un tocco artistico che riflette il talento di uno chef eccezionale. Un’esperienza che va oltre il semplice mangiare bene: qui si vive l’arte della cucina con il cuore. Tornerò sicuramente. Consigliatissimo!
