"Once upon a time" restaurant
Young guys, excellent purely Romagna food (without revisiting)
The place is almost always full of workers (at midday) because you can eat well without fainting!
The waiters are kind and helpful even with very noisy groups (like ours🤣🤣🤣🤣)
In short, I will return!

This place is a place in itself, perhaps it cannot even be placed in a certain category given the many facets it has; an environment that is very reminiscent of a rustic mountain chalet with its wooden cabinets where, however, the warmth of a chalet is replaced by an elusive service, a bit like a "fastfood" where you order-eat-you leave.
As soon as we enter we are not "welcomed", we follow a sort of queue waiting to be accompanied to the tables as soon as one is cleared.
The kitchen is open to view and while you wait you have to be careful not to get in the way of the trolleys carrying the plates full of food.
The menu with the courses listed does not exist, there is a waitress who lists the different proposals of the day and asks for your preference of wine, red or white.
We took:🍝🍖🤔
First:
•Cappelletti with ragù: Slightly overcooked pasta, nice full-bodied filling as well as the ragù. Not insignificant pieces of fat, it took on character if the "shape" (Parmesan) was added, otherwise it resulted in a somewhat anonymous hat.
•Saffron, mushroom and sausage risotto: The rice is not cooked badly, a little bland, the garlic flavor is decidedly strong, the sausage is good, the mushrooms are a little less so.
Seconds:
•Grilled: Too bad about the rib which was still grunting at times but overall the grilled was good, the grilling made the meat tasty, juicy, tender on the inside and toasted on the outside. 🐽
• Cuttlefish and peas: we had read and heard that eating fish here would be madness..... But instead we had to change our minds.
The cuttlefish was tender but at the same time firm, not hard, it danced harmoniously with its sauce. Result? A full and decisive taste.
The restaurant, as well as the dishes, have remained frozen in time, in 1970.
It is a place that, in an inelegant way, can be compared to a sort of "canteen", (in fact frequented mainly by workers on their lunch break) there is a lot, a lot of noise, it is difficult to talk to the people sitting next to you due to the tables which although very large, are very close to each other.
Obviously the advantages of places like these are that of being able to enjoy home-made, 'easy' cuisine, with very short waiting times where organization and speed are the key words. For every quality, however, there is at least one flaw, in fact daily attendance can lead to boredom due to the repetitiveness of the choices and sometimes this fast service leaves out many things that are important for a customer; for example, as the dishes of the day, the presence of cappelletti in broth or mutton and who knows how many other things that perhaps would have led us to choose differently had not been pointed out to us. Having said that, it is a place that with €20 each allows you to eat quickly and fill your stomach, but nothing more.

It is now my point of reference for lunch breaks when I am near Ravenna. You can eat a complete lunch well which includes water, wine and coffee at the lunch break price. On the menu of the day you can usually choose between three first courses, three second courses and three side dishes.
