Ristorante Spicy In Sorrento

The rooms are unfortunately very small. The hotel doesn't have an elevator. We had our room on the second floor and had to climb the stairs the whole time. The staff is very helpful, though. The hotel is generally very clean. The private parking was very important to us. €25 per night for a parking space is quite expensive, but you won't find anything cheaper in the region.

I just finished my stay at the Spicy Hotel and I can't help but share what a positive experience it was. The staff was always kind and helpful, ready to accommodate every request with a smile, and were incredibly honest in not charging me for a late arrival even though I had booked for the morning. The rooms are nice and clean, the air conditioning works well, and the WiFi could be faster, but it's okay. The cell phone signal is weak, at one bar, the supermarket is far away, and the worst part is the road with no shoulder. Elizabeth at the front desk is a world champion, a smiling, helpful, and beautiful woman. Thank you.

Currently undergoing renovations, the hotel offers old-world charm with modern comforts. However, the lack of an elevator and the cost of parking mean the service only has three stars, despite the professionalism of the reception and the excellent quality of the breakfast. And if the reception offers you a restaurant with a chauffeur, go for it! It's superb...

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Spicy! The room was a bit small, but well-designed, spotlessly clean, and refreshed with care every single day. It smelled great, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was incredibly generous and filling — the perfect way to start the day. The hotel offers lots of thoughtful options for travelers, including free shuttle rides to amazing local restaurants. Such a nice touch that made our stay even better! A huge thank you to Elisabeth, who literally saved one of our days at the very last minute — an angel along our journey. We were traveling with our two daughters, and we would go back without hesitation. Don’t let the negative reviews mislead you — some people want to pay for a 1-star hotel but expect 5-star service. Yes, the hotel is a bit outside the city and you’ll need a taxi to get around, but this is Italy, and Hotel Spicy truly makes the most of its location. We were in Spicy hotel in May 2025. The hotel is situated in very nice building and has recently renovated. Our room was small, but everything inside was new. The hotel has parking 25 eur per day. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The hotel is about 2,5 km far from the center. The problem is that there is no sidewalk all the way to the center. But, shuttle stop is very near to the hotel for 2 eur to the center. We payed taxi 36 eur to the center. We had nice short holiday in Sorrento!

Room was small, but clean about a mile and a half or so out of town so unless you have a vehicle tricky to get around, the breakfast buffet was incredible. The best I had all week in Italy.
