When an inspired dish can give you a Sunday of gastronomic happiness. Here lives the great authenticity of the culinary tradition of the northern Marche. I am heading to Piobbico for a television presentation of the format "Nel salotto marchigiano" broadcast on Tele2000 dedicated to the Sagra del Polentone alla Carbonara. And I dutifully chose to stop at the Sp 257 restaurant in the municipality of Apecchio. A restaurant, or trattoria or osteria, something that reminds me of my childhood. The right dish together with other authoritative ones that I could choose has already given me a natural strength to go to work: Really homemade ravioli, with white wild boar ragù. The quality of the ravioli filling is stratospheric, all handmade and really can be deeply perceived, an extraordinary balance with the white wild boar ragù with a gentle presence of juniper berries collected in the woods of the Marche Apennines that I am passionate about. Good oil, gentle flavor, fine aroma. Here lives the great authenticity of the northern Marche tradition. Compliments to you great and noble Chefs Monica and Martina. You will often have me discover every single dish of your culinary identity. Compliments to you girls who inspired me: Claudia, Sara and Inga; in the dining room you really know how to charm the guest.

The atmosphere is very rustic, the service is fast and punctual, the portions are generous, the food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. This restaurant has become a regular stop on my motorcycle trips with my pillion rider or with my biker friends. It's not flashy, but it's very authentic. Book in advance.

I often stop here for lunch on my way back from the beach. Excellent food, unique dishes, and delicious pizza. Fast and friendly service.
