We've been coming here every fall for six years and feel very comfortable here. It's a family-run hotel offering breakfast or half board and an outdoor pool. It's located directly on Lake Kaltern. Everything has been newly renovated, and a beautiful winter garden for breakfast and dinner was added two years ago.

A superb base for various excursions between Merano and Lake Garda. The food and drinks—especially Arthur's wine—are delicious. The entire staff is very attentive, and the owners are extremely kind to us guests. We'll definitely be back.

We managed to get a wonderful table for four without a reservation. Excellent food, friendly and attentive service, and absolutely reasonable prices! There's also a lovely little climbing playground for children in the courtyard. We'd be happy to go back anytime!

A very nice and good family-run hotel. Whether at reception, bar, or restaurant, the staff are very attentive and friendly. The food and drinks are very good. The rooms are very well-equipped and very clean. There's also a lovely pool. The only drawback is the location on a very busy street. This has the advantage of being very easy to reach by public transport, with a bus stop right outside the front door. The disadvantage is the loud traffic. Not suitable for those sensitive to noise, or you might want to bring earplugs. For everyone else, a good recommendation.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful; we were completely satisfied. The staff was super friendly. A big compliment to the lovely senior manager, who had everything under control. We had a room with a view of Lake Kaltern, which was beautiful.

Located right on the main street. Ideal place to start hiking or cycling. Great clean hotel. Nice hosts and friendly staff. In the evening with half board 5 course menu. Top 👍. Price-performance class. Nice rooms. Swimming pool outside available.

24/09/2025: We were a bit hungry when we discovered this place thanks to TripAdvisor. It wasn't listed under restaurants on Google because it's labeled as a bar. However, the food is great here. We had a cheeseburger, and the paninis looked pretty good too. Really good value for money. One burger is more than enough, even if you're really hungry. The service was fast and very friendly. Overall, highly recommended.
18/09/2025: Exceptionally good apple strudel, as well as the Black Forest roll. The sweet treats can compete with any café. It's worth a visit!

14/09/2025: From the mountain station, you can enjoy many beautiful hikes. They're ideal for children.
02/09/2025: A well-maintained cable car, but unfortunately, decisions are made on an individual basis. Dogs are supposed to wear muzzles, actually. On the ride, the staff made it mandatory for the first large dog, but they didn't require one for the second, even though it was also a large one. They should simply ask the passengers if they were okay with it. On the other hand, bicycles are only allowed on board from 3 p.m. onward, even though there were only two passengers in the cable car on the previous ride. The price for the uphill and downhill ride is perfectly reasonable at €15. There's an additional €7 per bike.
