The Santa Maria restaurant is ideal to enjoy delicious pizzas near the Tower of Pisa. The atmosphere is cozy and the pizzas were well made and tasty. The location is perfect to rest and enjoy a good meal after visiting the tower.

Un posto immerso nella natura cibo buonissimo e principale simpaticissima camerieri educati e disponibili e il rumore del fiume vicino ai tavoli all'aperto ti fa mangiare in tranquillità, il ristorante migliore di serra.

This was our 2nd time staying here. We ate pizza and it was very tasty, for €9. They also have very tasty limoncello spritz here.

It's raining today unfortunately but the cooking warmed us up. Just be careful with the XL pizza, it is huge (the size of a table lol). But it's actually very good for an affordable price. Pizza and lasagna a delight

Location stupenda, pranzi sotto gli alberi al fresco naturale del bosco vicino la certosa. Naturalmente è tutto spartano, i tavoli di legno fatti home made tutt'uno con i sedili sempre in legno. Si pranza alla buona, ma tutto genuino. Il formaggio locale, il risotto ai funghi, peperoni e patate, tutto buono. Il conto, direi, è quasi gratis.

05/08/2024: We went to this place for a quick lunch, I had some very good spaghetti with red prawns, while my partner had gnocchi with pesto and dried tomatoes which, however, she wasn't crazy about. The biggest flaw of the restaurant, however, remains the prices as the courses do not range that much and the cover costs 3 euros per person and is located at the end in the historic center where any other restaurant where we have been costs 2 and above all still water it costs 3.50 and here too in the other places you pay around 2 euros maximum 2.50 so given these prices it seemed a bit like the usual tourist trap that is easy to fall into

24/08/2024: Everything was great, the service was extremely nice! They also have vegan options (e.g. pasta) and pay close attention to allergies, etc. I would visit again!!
23/08/2024: a cena con la famiglia, all'esterno del locale. Ambiente molto dettagliato e anche romantico. Personale molto presente e disponibile (e preparato!). Pietanze molto buone e curate, che allontana questo locale da quelli dedicati esclusivamente al turista di passaggio. Prezzo forse altino, ma siamo al centro di uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia, in pieno agosto, e ci sta!
