Ristorante Santa Maria In Aglientu

A place to try. A place to return to. Unfortunately, we were there on a Tuesday, when hours are limited, and we couldn't have lunch in the garden. However, we still enjoyed some truly homemade pasta. Ricotta and spinach ravioli. Spectacular. Sardinian-style Chiusoni, with tomato and sausage cone sauce. Excellent. 10 euros a plate. We took away fresh, handmade pasta and delicious Sardinian sweets. We'll definitely be back, but not on a Tuesday. I noticed the menu was reduced to what I'd seen in previous reviews. I hope they reintroduce a larger version. Piera is excellent and very kind. So is her daughter. We were served by a very kind woman from Oristano. See you soon.

Excellent food, takeaway with table available

Found by chance while looking for a place to have an early dinner after a windy day at the beach, this typical village shop welcomes its guests under a lush pergola in a delightful courtyard. You fill out the order/menu yourself and when it's ready you get up and go get your dishes... you eat simply like at home (when someone at home cooks well!) with the satisfaction of dining out. Highly recommended.

We were surprised twice. First time, when realised that this small shop with couple tables by the quiet, peaceful street is a restaurant, we've found on g maps. Secondly, when tried their mix of pasta and mix of meat... Everything was delicious! Hard to describe, how shocked we were. Definitely worth visiting. And yes, they can charge how much they want cause there is no other restaurant in town ;D Isn't it pure beauty of entrepreneurship? But! Be aware, that there is a self service. Unfortunately, they really serve food on disposable plates. Eating there was an interesting experience.

We had a very good meal here, with homemade ravioli and pasta. A visit to the restaurant is highly recommended.
