A historic restaurant in the Fiumicino countryside. It looks like an old trattoria but has a truly charming feel. The food is divine, and you can choose your meat right at the counter, where you'll find many different cuts. The polenta with tomato sauce is also good. The portions are generous, though perhaps the best part was the appetizer, which wasn't anything special. Overall, everything was good. Definitely a good recommendation.

Recommended place if you want to eat quality meat, we had arrosticini, beef fillet and pork chops all cooked to perfection, also the pasta such as carbonara/amatriciana etc... typical Roman dishes really good, highly recommended.

09/07/2025: Good, homemade food at affordable prices. The menu is limited in starters and appetizers, but there's still a decent selection, including main courses. The atmosphere is quiet, secluded, and retro. The service is good, courteous, and fast.
06/07/2025: Unique location under the tomb of Cecilia Metella. Excellent food and well cooked in the Roman tradition. Fast and attentive service. Fair prices. Truly a beautiful experience

18/08/2025: For Italy, the food is bland. There's only one server, so it takes forever.
15/08/2025: We went to eat at this restaurant by chance. We were charmed by the welcome from the restaurant owner and the lady in the dining room (very friendly). Delicious, typically Italian cuisine. It feels like a home away from home. Recommended, especially, are the pasta carbonara and tamarisk (homemade).
