Quiet atmosphere, a well-kept and welcoming environment. What about the dishes... excellent quality and the right quantity. We ate fish and meat: all excellent. Excellent cuisine with special dishes.

Adiacente al magnifico castello, questo ristorante sin dall’ingresso racconta la sua storia, con ambienti piacevolmente retrò e qualche sprazzo di modernità, come i sottopiatti colorati o la pietra coi fiori di fil di ferro. Il menù richiama tradizione e territorio, con un solo rimando allo chef George Cogny, maestro di tanti cuochi piacentini, per il suo “Tortino di cipolle, tartufo nero della ValNure e fleur de sal”, che non potevo non assaggiare. Molto buoni anche gli altri piatti degustati, come il “Sigaro d'anatra con crema di porcini, scaglie di Grana piacentino e rucola” e i “Pezzi d'oca confit con marmellata di cipolle, pesche e salsa speziata al vino rosso”. Esperienza gradevole, prezzi importanti.

Incredible quality of food and excellent presentation. Worth the the 40mn drive in the end… The veal and the cannelloni was particularly impressive. Service a bit slow, but again, it was worth the wait.

Final lunch of a weekend with friends. Very welcoming, all dishes excellent, very well prepared. The manager is very kind. Really recommended
