Il Sole Cinese: one of the best Chinese restaurants in Rimini! This historic restaurant has always remained true to itself, widely considered among the best of its kind. The menu is traditional Chinese, without exotic additions like sushi and the like. Overall, the dishes are good and the portions are generous. I personally recommend the spring rolls, the grilled soy noodles, the grilled ravioli, and the crispy chicken! The service is courteous and fast, despite the restaurant being usually busy, so I recommend making a reservation. The bill is old-fashioned, in the sense that "affordable" is an understatement. Finally, the owner's offer of plum or rose grappa at the end of the meal is always welcome. In short, if it continues like this, Il Sole Cinese will shine brightly in the Rimini sky for many years to come.

We zijn hier per ongeluk terecht gekomen. Het terras zat vol dus we dachten, waarom ook niet. De volgende dag zijn we er nog terug gegaan. Erg lekker gegeten voor een hele schappelijke prijs. De bediening is erg vriendelijk en er wordt wel degelijk Engels gesproken.

Excellent shrimps and homemade wine! Update in 2025: We’ve been visiting this restaurant every time we’re in Rimini since 2016. The good news is: the prices haven’t changed at all. But the attitude of the owners has gotten worse and worse. Twice we were turned away even though we came during the restaurant’s official opening hours — it was either too early or too late (according to the owners). Every time, we seemed to annoy the owner by ordering just two dishes from the menu instead of the whole thing. But the prices and portions are great — you just need to be thick-skinned when it comes to politeness. :)

Ristorante gestito da un paio di ventenni dalla stessa famiglia. Il cibo è classico cinese, i prodotti non sono male, per pasti veloci e rapidi. Bere solito prezzo modesto. Consigliato. Maggio 2025.
