Everything was excellent: a platter of cured meats, cheeses, and focaccias, plus house-made tagliolini with mushroom and rib sauce. The meat-based main courses were also excellent, and the service was quick and friendly, and the price was €30 per person. The view was beautiful, and the climate was cool; perfect in summer.

The view is really beautiful, on very clear days you can even see Corsica... The structure is dated and it shows...open only in some periods and for a short time... The food is sufficient, nothing special. A very very sore point are the antennas of the repeaters that surround the refuge...the road that leads to the Beigua is not the best..

Refuge where you can breathe an ancient air, classic refuge of the past managed with great kindness by Anna and her Team. Unfortunately the alternations of the repeaters surrounding the refuge ruin much of the poetry of the place.

Review of Rifugio Monte Beigua On 05/25/2025 I stayed at Rifugio Monte Beigua. I was the only guest. I was on a hike on the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri (from Garessio to Varese Ligure) and was arriving from Cascina Miera (23 km). Anna, the manager of the Refuge, brought a delicious minestrone from her house. The stay at Rifugio Monte Beigua was very nice: I had dinner in front of the fire in the fireplace, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you Anna!

30/09/2025: It's now a tradition to have lunch with my elderly parents, who adore the food and the owners (so do I!) Excellent food, and the wine selection is top-notch. They're also welcoming to outsiders (anyone above Cadibona), but don't ask for menu changes; you'll eat everything until dessert. 😁
03/08/2025: Sunday lunch, excellent food and quality ingredients, the fixed menu price was really fair for what we got. The food was delicious, come visit them!!!!!
