We reached the cabin after an hour of uphill walking. The location is worth it, as is the food. Paolo is super friendly, the soul of the place. Excellent food.

A well-established mountain refuge with a panoramic terrace overlooking the Ayas Valley and a lively and friendly staff. Excellent, light beer, polenta with pork cheek, and a mixed platter of cold cuts and cheeses—amazing! All accompanied by pleasant background music and a unique view! Must see and try.

We stayed at the Belvedere Refuge for a couple of days and it was a fantastic experience. To reach the refuge, you have to take a cable car and then walk a bit or have a car pick you up. We opted for the latter and were greeted by the refuge manager, Paolo, a true insider tip for our regulars. We were immediately captivated by his impactful personality. He made us feel right at home, very kind and willing to accommodate any request. The woman at the refuge was particularly helpful and friendly. A special mention for the cuisine: the food was truly excellent, plentiful, just the way we like it, and the set evening menus were truly thoughtful. You can sense the chef's passion, always smiling and friendly. Needless to say, the view, with marmots and chamois, is truly breathtaking. I highly recommend staying at this refuge.

It feels like paradise, an experience I've never had before! The cabin is over 2,000 meters above sea level, and you can reach it on foot if you want. We stayed for two nights in July, unfortunately with unstable weather. The rooms are very nice and clean, with comfortable bathrooms. The service, except for the "Supremo" owner, is provided by very friendly seasonal staff. The food isn't exactly what you'd expect from a cabin; perhaps something more distinctive would have been better. The price is a bit high for the quality of the experience!

The Belvedere refuge enjoys a spectacular location, overlooking the upper Ayas Valley and contemplating the majesty of Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn. An exclusive view that evokes vibrant and intense emotions, fully embodied by Paolo, the host of the house! Attentive staff. Welcoming and clean rooms. Hearty, traditional cuisine completes the experience, which can be described as the quintessential mountain experience. Highly recommended for those, like us, stopping off on the Monte Rosa tour, or for those who simply want to experience a genuine day immersed in these splendid mountains!

Climb from Champoluc with arrival at the Belvedere refuge from which you can enjoy a unique panorama and the kindness of the staff and the creativity of the manager. Accompanied by beautiful music we ate excellent shin mixed platter and an exceptional tiramisu with excellent local beer. We had a great time. I recommend it for a stop and refreshment.
