Elegance and refinement, yet with a human warmth. I stumbled upon it almost by chance, along with my partner and five-month-old daughter. For a moment, I thought it might not be the perfect fit, especially since it was a bit late for lunch. Instead, the staff were incredibly friendly, the owner was incredibly sweet, the service excellent, and... a breathtaking panoramic view. The dining room is beautifully clean and harmonious. The dishes arrive. Aside from a delicious welcome appetizer, the appetizers and first courses are excellent, featuring quality ingredients and delicate cooking. The stuffed eggplant is delicious, perfect for mopping up the sauce! Delicious fried food, not at all greasy. The black trofie are exquisite, and the orecchiette deserve seconds! All topped off with the view and the elegant, courteous staff. Thank you!

My partner and I chose to have lunch at Porta Nova restaurant during our day trip to Ostuni. Authentic flavors, the staff were extremely courteous and professional, and the restaurant was meticulously maintained with a beautiful view. A place worth trying and returning to as soon as possible!

The atmosphere is classy to say the least, with the staff being extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it for a romantic evening with your partner or an elegant one with friends.

Excellent food but the prices are too exaggerated... I advise against it before you leave your salary all there, truly disgusted!!

Like many, we were passing through Ostuni. But we craved something nice. As a tourist it is easy to eat street food, or tavola calda, or osteria, and that can be good, but sometimes you need to slow down and enjoy it all. Porta Nova is one of the places you eat to savor the experience. It is fine dining from beginning to end. We were greeted warmly, seated and well served. Bread selection is wonderful. The amuse bouche was veloute of pumpkin with chestnuts and mushrooms. Amazing! I had the local fish crudo (pictured) was delicate thinly fileted local fish with red pepper corn. Delicious! My wife enjoyed the mussels which were perfectly prepared. I had roasted full body local fish which came with vegetables (pictured). My wife had the orcchietti with rape. Such execution is noteworthy. A local white wine was the perfect partner for everything. Plus you have the incredible views (pictured) and my poor photos don't do it justice. Overall a wonderful experience!

The appetizers were excellent. A small pumpkin soup with porcini mushrooms, focaccia, and delicious bread. The main course, however, was good, but nothing exceptional considering the prices. The service was excellent and the setting has a beautiful view. The risotto was very tasty. The other dishes were okay, but nothing special.
