I had dinner at the Portanova restaurant in Ostuni for New Year's Eve dinner. The location is enchanting, with a splendid panoramic view, and the service was impeccable: the waiters were kind and friendly. However, I must report that the dinner did not live up to expectations. The meat arrived cold and a first course was not to my liking. The rest of the courses were good, but the overall experience could have been better.

Lovely restaurant with beautiful views. The food was very good quality and beautifully presented. Exceptional and very professional service. The chef makes his own liqueurs and we were offered one on the house. It was delicious and a nice ending to a lovely evening.

A note of merit goes to the owner and the kitchen team, who stand out for their passion and availability: I had the pleasure of stopping to talk to them and I was impressed by their dedication. A detail that I particularly appreciated was the small gift I received at the end of the meal: a lovely amphora containing very high quality oil, a touch of class that makes the experience even more memorable. In short, a place that deserves to be experienced at least once, where every penny spent is repaid with moments of pure excellence.

Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful place, we ate excellently with dishes different from the usual where the creativity and skill of the chef was highlighted, we drank some fine wine of our own production, very kind and helpful staff, recommended.
