The appetizers were excellent, the first courses were a bit bland. The service was excellent. I found the price slightly higher than expected. Overall, a good restaurant.

We arrived by chance, caught in a thunderstorm on an early summer Sunday, and were greeted wonderfully despite the lack of a reservation and the late hour! The food was delicious, with a delicious menu from which we all chose different dishes just to try everything. The staff was smiling and courteous despite the full restaurant and a children's birthday party in the adjacent room.
Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be back. Congratulations!

Nestled in an oasis of peace and quiet amidst the woods, the wonderful Ponte Bria Restaurant is a place where you can enjoy traditional Piedmontese dishes prepared with high-quality local ingredients and some exquisite ingredients.
I think it's been years since I've been so excited about enjoying a lunch in the VCO region; every single course was excellent and beyond my wildest expectations.
For my appetizer, I had the Piedmontese Fassona beef tartare with black summer truffle and arugula mayonnaise, perhaps the best tartare I've had in recent years: it's incredible how all three ingredients combined to create a totally unique and difficult-to-describe flavor.
I also tried some fried frog legs, which were incredibly crispy and tender, though not quite my cup of tea.
For my first course, I ordered a generous portion of homemade tortelloni filled with taleggio cheese, zucchini flowers, and crispy sausage.
Besides the fact that the tortelli dough was exceptional, I was also amazed by the very balanced filling; the taleggio cheese was noticeable, but without overpowering the other ingredients with its strong flavor.
Finally, we shared a slice of Piedmontese Fassona beef, which was tender, to say the least. The meat, served with a perfectly prepared gazpacho, was fantastic and rich in flavor even without the sauce; I'd dare say it was perfect in every way.
I'd say the Piedmontese quality is evident throughout.
The lunch was accompanied by a nice glass of good Barbera d'Alba and concluded with some locally produced gentian.
The service was extremely kind and attentive; you could tell they care about giving their customers an excellent experience.
And so it was for me; Ponte Bira has undoubtedly become one of my favorite places in the Cusio and Verbano areas.
I recommend making a reservation for the beautiful outdoor terrace in the summer.

Confirmation in the family. The cordiality, the welcome and the peace found in this little corner of paradise remain for us a wonderful memory. The staff is smiling, friendly, really nice. Unexpectedly we found a nice elf to entertain our children for a good part of the afternoon, with a walk in the woods and crafts. We had a peaceful lunch and they had fun. We will definitely be back! ♥️

Ristorante curato, con ampia sala interna e veranda esterna, ma il meglio lo dà l'arioso spazio all'aperto dove pranzare in una bella giornata di sole. Menù alla carta, scelta non vasta ma interessante, portate tra il giusto e l'abbondante, di sapiente preparazione. Discreta selezione di vini del territorio e oltre. Servizio professionale, un tantino lento ma per rilassarsi immersi nella natura si accetta volentieri. Prezzi leggermente sopra l'aspettativa, pur dichiarati chiaramente sul menu anche online, ma ormai é così un po' dappertutto.

Ottima cucina locale, in una location estremamente rilassante.
Niente male anche la cantina, il tutto a prezzi più che accettabili.
Estremamente gradevole la possibilità di stendersi nei prati circostanti e di fare passeggiate in zona.
Unica pecca l’estrema lentezza del servizio: amo lo slow food, ma questa volta è stato un po’ eccessivo.
