Ristorante - Pizzeria Villa Patrizia In Pontelatone

We recently stumbled upon a new restaurant I'd heard about: grilled pizza. Long story short, we were lucky to find a table despite not having a reservation. The food was good, almost all home-made or locally sourced. We had a lovely evening and enjoyed a more than welcome new experience. The place is very quaint and beautifully maintained, both inside and out, and the staff is very friendly. It's a disappointment; at lunchtime they only serve large groups, but since we're usually just two, we could only go for dinner. It's a shame the menu looks very appealing, but for now we settled for the pizza, which we were very satisfied with. Definitely worth a try.

A delightful evening pizza for two. Villa Patrizia's signature dish is grilling pizza, which makes it particularly crispy and thin. A single grilled pizza, consisting of 18 pieces, costs €25, with the option of three different flavors. Excellent value, a highly recommended experience.

We went to this pizzeria on a Saturday night, and what can I say? Everything was perfect. From the welcome to the service, the staff were helpful and friendly. The pizza was delicious, a special one in that it's cooked a second time on the grill, so it's also crispy. We loved it. The fried foods were equally good because they made it themselves, not frozen. We ate outside and had a great time. We'll definitely be back, and I recommend you try it. Reservations are required. P.S. My son Flavio also cares about his opinion. He thinks the pizza is "chicazz assaje" (very cool). 😂

The name "Villa Patrizia" doesn't immediately make you think of a pizza place, but on the recommendation of some friends, I decided to try it. The experience was positive. I ate outside, under a wooden portico, in a style very reminiscent of a farmhouse: simple, quiet, and well-kept. As soon as you enter the garden, you immediately notice the open oven where the pizza is made, a detail I found interesting. The staff is kind and attentive, and it's best to book a table. The pizza is first baked in the oven and then grilled. It's thin, rectangular, well-cooked, and has a good flavor. There aren't many flavors available, but I tried them all. My favorite was the simple tomato one, which was very tasty despite its simplicity. The fried foods, such as croquettes and frittatina, are also good and are prepared in-house. The only shame was the heat and mugginess of the evening, which made the experience a little less comfortable, although that's obviously not the restaurant's fault. A place worth trying!
