09/08/2026: A good dinner in Capua: generous portions and tasty dishes ​We went to Antica Cantina in Capua for a seafood dinner. Overall, it was a good experience, with simple, traditional dishes and decidedly generous portions. ​Here's what we ordered: ​Appetizer: A peppered mussel dish, which, despite being for one person, was so large we shared it. ​First courses: Spaghetti with clams and seafood scialatielli. Both first courses were good and the portions were very satisfying. ​Second course: Octopus Luciana-style with capers and olives, flavorful and also very generous. ​The atmosphere and service ​The restaurant is charming and offers two options: an outdoor dining area in the garden under a pergola (very pleasant) and an indoor dining area. The service was courteous and helpful. In short: A good restaurant if you're looking for classic seafood dishes, generous portions, and a relaxed atmosphere. A truly positive experience.
