Highly recommended restaurant. Excellent value for money and fantastic quality food. The rigatoni alla gricia were delicious, and the desserts — especially the panna cotta — were outstanding. The staff were very attentive, and although we didn’t have a reservation, we didn’t have to wait. We will definitely come back. It’s especially recommendable for this area because it feels very authentic. Most of the clientele are Italian, which always says a lot. Congrats for this great restaurant !

Just walked in today and decided to try their Carbonara. My goodness was it cooked so perfectly. Perfect al dente pasta, with the balance of all the cheese and fat. Just absolute perfection. I would love to come back to try their pizza.

I'm back after a year. I have to say the scampi cream risotto is a classic. Today we had homemade gnocchi with clams, and that too is top notch. Prices are reasonable for Trastevere. Double bruschetta, risotto, and gnocchi for €40, including wine and water. Service is fast and friendly, thanks to a very efficient Bangladeshi waitress.

A lovely surprise in the heart of Trastevere. Not a very noisy place, very tasty traditional Roman cuisine and generous portions, very friendly waiters, and very fair prices. In short, not your typical tourist trap. I'll be back if I'm in Rome again.

04/01/2026: I humbly apologize; I completely screwed up by writing a terrible review a few days ago because of a name! I visited this restaurant on my first day in Rome. We stopped for lunch (around 2:00 PM). We had a selection of first courses, a pinsa, Roman-style artichokes, and a few main courses. All dishes were executed to perfection! The mezze maniche alla carbonara is highly recommended, the artichokes delicious, and the pinsa light and delicious! The service and courtesy are worthy of a true Roman. Top-quality products and fair prices! Highly recommended!!! I apologize again for the misunderstanding! Simone

La Locanda di Tizia e Caio

01/03/2026: We ate here about a week ago on three evenings with four or five people. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, especially the bruschetta and the pasta dishes. The service was always very friendly, so we felt very comfortable in this restaurant, even though we were tourists. We also appreciated that there were reasonable pauses between courses and that everything wasn't served quickly one after the other. The value for money is excellent!
