It definitely takes the trophy of my trip. We came because of a recommendation from a Roman girl, and frankly it was the best decision to go to this restaurant. I suggest making a reservation because they have a lot of people and especially local people, which tells you that there is good food. They have the best Cacio E Pepe spaghetti that I have ever had the fortune of trying SPECTACULAR!! And some magnificent pizzas. The service from Roberto was first class, a classy waiter with education! Plus, I was able to drink one of my favorite wines from Italy! The quality-price ratio is very fair! I will be back!!

A lovely place, it was recommended to me and I was honestly not disappointed by everything spectacular. Quantity, served quickly and always very attentive to you and the food is very good

Excellent food. delicious spaghetti carbonara. Quality, courtesy and normal prices. One of the best trattorias in Trastevere. Highly recommended.

We eat well. Friendly staff. But the menu must be read very carefully. You are aware of the clauses in contracts written in small print, but they are the ones that must be read very carefully. Go, you'll eat well. But read carefully.

Food was good, and service was nice at the beginning but once it got busier around 9pm they totally forgot us. We tried to ask for the waiter for 10 minutes to order still some coffee, but just got the bill instead.

23/08/2024: Dopo essermi trasferita a Bologna, ritornare a Roma è sempre una emozione grande! Il calore della città e i suoi quartieri, le sue strade, soprattutto in agosto mi riempiono di gioia… come non ritornare da Angelina a testaccio? Il mio ristorante preferito… mangio sempre una carbonara Top e vogliamo parlare poi, dell abbacchio cotto ai Carboni? Siete sempre una garanzia per me.
04/08/2024: Fantastic spot, with a beautiful rustic terrace to enjoy the sunset. Portions were huge & good value, staff are friendly and bilingual. Saturday night & most diners are Italian. The pasta here was my favourite of the whole trip.

La Piccola Amatrice

03/08/2024: I've been there several times, all in all the food is good and the price is honest. However, I didn't like the fact that the lady at the checkout never showed me a receipt where I could see the count of what I consumed, but only the final sum which was always a multiple of 5 or 10 (35 , 40, 50). This makes me wonder if you often round up! Crafty
29/06/2024: Places like that no longer exist, they are the ones where you are not at home but you feel at home. If you are reading this review and have not yet booked, you do not deserve the pleasure of sharing a table with the chef at Piccola Amatrice.
