I've known this place for years. I've had three takeout pizzas. The pizza is very good and well-topped. The ingredients are high-quality. The atmosphere is very nice; you can eat inside or at one of the many tables outside. I've noticed that the staff is very courteous and quick to take orders and bring the dishes to the tables. While we waited, they had us sit on sofas and armchairs and offered us a glass of wine/limoncello (a much-appreciated courtesy).

We've been to this restaurant several times, mostly in groups. We've always been happy with the food, especially the pizzas. But after last night's experience, I honestly don't think we'll be back. I ordered a plate of mussels with lemon and risked food poisoning. I immediately pointed out that the mussels were very dirty, raw (the mollusk was still fully expanded and attached to the entire surface of the shell), and, more seriously, some of them had a bad taste. Despite this, I tried to be polite, saying that, for goodness sake, it can happen! But I never expected that, at the cash register, they'd charge me for a dish I barely finished for fear of getting sick! Not only did they take away the plate half full, but some of them were visibly spat on. I'm sorry, but that's not respectful to the customer!

We went there for dinner because we were passing through. We wanted to eat fairly quickly, which worked out very well. The pizza was delicious. The staff spoke almost no English, but we were still able to communicate.
The restaurant is very large and has a cozy outdoor area with plenty of free parking.

Now a historic place in the Belice area, which has been modernized a few years ago, both aesthetically and in terms of menu.
Menu that presents typical Sicilian dishes, some fish offerings and then a nice variety of pizzas, with classic dough or "black pizzas". The pizza is not the classic Neapolitan one, it veers a bit on the biscuity side.
As a starter I would suggest the mussel soup and caponata; this was really very very good, the only negative note was the too much oil which made the last bites a little difficult, but overall it was a really great dish. As a first course we go with Busiate with pesto from Belice and Vastedda, very good as raw materials but a little bland.
But in my opinion the icing on the cake is the lamb with potatoes: I would never have expected it to be served inside the crock with a covering made with pizza dough; excellent dish.
Very very friendly staff, present in the room and helpful.
Excellent quality/price ratio in my opinion.
