We've already been back for the third time, and I'm writing this review with the hope that it might be helpful to the pizza chef and the chef. The pizza and toppings are truly excellent, on par with other pizzerias of the same caliber; however, the base often has overly burned areas, with black spots. This not only gives a bitter aftertaste, but I also believe it can be unhealthy.
Last night we also tried the grilled octopus: unfortunately, the flavor was rather bland, with very large tentacles of dubious origin and lacking the characteristic grilled aroma. A real shame!

We were skeptical, because looking at other people's pizzas, they seemed too thick. But it was a wonderful surprise! Thick, yet crispy and light; the burrata was top-quality, as were the tomatoes. Not to mention the service, despite it being a busy evening. The woman who assisted us was smiling, patient, and above all helpful. The atmosphere was warm and elegant. Over the top! Congratulations, Gioacchino!

Saccharium is located in Altavilla Milicia, and offers a small indoor parking lot. We booked a table on their website and arrived right on time. We had a delicious pizza here, made with truly exquisite ingredients. It was truly incredible. The service was attentive and fast. We paid about €22 per person for a pizza and a beer. We'll be back.

Last night, for the first time, I went with a group of friends to dinner at this restaurant. It's a very welcoming place, with attention to detail, and the staff are truly professional and well-organized.
Despite the influx of people,
The wait was very short, worthy of a 5-star rating.
We each had pizzas.
The dough was top-notch with just as many ingredients, so HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
The bill was based on the food and the location.
The only MAJOR BLAM is that the bill was rounded up at checkout, which, despite the small amount, leaves the customer feeling annoyed.

Truly good pizza. Fresh ingredients and a light, delicious dough. One of the best pizzerias in the area. The kitchen and oven are open to the public, and most importantly, cured meats are freshly cut. A truly delicious, fresh pizza.

Esperienza al limite per Saccharum, una pizzeria che - se fosse un ristorante recensito da Michelin - avrebbe almeno due stelle. Il perché è presto detto: ambiente gradevole ed elegante, design contemporaneo realizzato con materiali pregiati, servizio attento e preparato, carta vini sorprendente, e percorso degustazione pizze in abbinamento alle bevande di assoluto successo (55 euro, vini e birre incluse). Per le stesse "emozioni" un ristorante accreditato chiede almeno 150 euro. Cosa abbiamo mangiato? Una selezione di piccoli antipasti, come il pan brioche al BBQ di quaglia, Tuma fritta, arancinette con verdure e alici, tre tipi do sfincione, panetto ai semi con porchetta. Poi, Pizzetta Siciliana al pomodoro siccagno, acciughe di Aspra, caciocavallo siciliano, cipolla caramellata; la Pizza Croccante con fiordilatte campana, bresaola di tonno, zucchine genovesi, cipolla caramellata, menta e maionese alla bottarga; la Pizza Tonda, con fiordilatte campana, prosciutto cotto di alta qualità, carciofi arrostiti, scaglie di parmigiano e tartufo nero; la Pizza Spick & Crock, con gamberi rossi di Mazara, stracciatella, zucchine marinate, zest di limone e olio extravergine d’oliva al basilico; per dessert, una focaccina dolce con miele di zagara, ricotta di pecora e scorza di limone candita. Varie le sale, alcune hanno le poltroncine in stoffa o velluto. Che ne dite?
