This is my second time back in a couple of years, and honestly, this time I wasn't very happy. The food isn't anything special, but the meat, both the ribs and the stew, was very tough. The prices are good, the location is nice, and the service is good. But if I go out to eat, good food would be equally important!

A simple place, good service, reasonable prices, and good food. We ordered platters, pizzoccheri, and pasta with venison ragù and tiramisu—all good. They also do pizza, but we didn't order that.

We were in the area to pick chestnuts nearby and stopped for a bite to eat. This is our second time there, and we'll definitely be back again. The welcome was excellent, the staff courteous, and the service fast. We had a great meal, and it was excellent value. I recommend it.

What I immediately highlighted was the service provided. The waiters were prompt and well-trained to take orders. The dishes we selected arrived promptly. I can only speak highly of their deliciousness. We ate game-based first and second courses. Everything was sublimely prepared according to the finest mountain traditions.

The signature dish is grilled or sliced meat, strictly with French fries.
The veranda, unlike the indoor dining room or the garden, is noisier; the large windows bounce people's chatter, making conversation difficult when it's crowded.

This is our go-to restaurant/pizzeria when we're in Valsassina - LC.
Both the pizzas and the cuisine are excellent, very much in keeping with local and Valtellina traditions.
Depending on the day or time of year, reservations are recommended!

Good both as a pizzeria and as a traditional restaurant, especially when there aren't many people. Otherwise, it can get a bit crowded. The location, with its playground and immediate surroundings, is excellent. In the evening, some insect repellent outside would be desirable.
The pinsa dough is very good. It's also a beautiful place visually.
