Ordered custom pizzas and pasta to go. A great welcome. Although we didn't speak Italian, the whole team was there to help us, and they were so kind. And then the tasting: a real delight. We're staying right next door for four days; it's clear this restaurant will become our go-to restaurant!

A reunion with friends and family at this trattoria-pizzeria. We chose a Saturday, and the place was packed both inside and on the open veranda; I imagine there were no tables outside because the rain had recently stopped. We waited about two hours after ordering for our pizzas. The pizzas were thin and not bad at all; the prices were now in line with the market... except for the Margherita (€5), the other pizzas cost between €9 and €10. The parking lot was full, everyone parked as best they could; I was forced to park outside. We had children with us, who were able to play in the space in front of the veranda where we were sitting.

Excellent food and impeccable service. Everyone was courteous and kind in recommending everything to us! The location is private and there's also outdoor seating. I recommend everyone to go there.

24/09/2025: “O you hungry travelers and knights who set foot in the countryside of Taranto, know that in the inn called Marco Aurelio lies a fragrant and flavorful treasure: pizza. Truly, when it arrives steaming before the table, it seems a gift from Heaven itself, for the dough is soft as a cloud, and the crust crispy as a shield tempered in battle. The toppings, generous and just right, gladden the heart of even the most austere palate. It is true that sometimes the master pizza chef, a man of great skill but still mortal, can miss his shot like an archer who loses his arrow in the wind. 21/09/2025: Today, September 21, 25. I strongly advise against it. We came in and were seated at 9:00 PM. I immediately sensed the evening would be a disaster. We were seated at 9:00 PM and served at 12:20 AM. They asked us to pay in advance. I think this is incredibly rude. They brought us two fewer pizzas. The service was handled by four runaways. The owner was more arrogant than ever, as they say, snobbish and presumptuous. Inept.
04/09/2025: Very nice, the large beach is all sand, the Ionian Sea is incredible
