Ristorante Pizzeria Mexicana In Ballabio

Discovered when we arrived near Ballabio, this small, seemingly simple restaurant is great. Very friendly service, young waiters speak English when needed. The smile is always present, a nice terrace, nearby parking but above all excellent cuisine and very reasonable prices (in 07.2024) Gnocchi between 8 and 10 eur, grilled trout 12 eur (a nice piece of salmon trout)..just excellent... As proof, I came back 3 times to enjoy the (homemade) dishes. little advice = if you take a beer, take the "media" size, you will have a 40cl beer at 5 eur instead of a small 20 cl at 4 eur. Try to count the number of takeaway pizzas that pass through during your meal, it's incredible :-) Remember to book as the terrace is very popular and quickly full in short: I recommend and to the owners: Thank you for your welcome

Had dinner in this place on a Saturday evening, with a reservation of 4 tables. The owner was very kind, reserving a room just for us and making sure we had the tables ready for our arrival. The food was good and the atmosphere was simple and hospitable.

A place like we like from other "vintage" times, it feels like staying at grandma's... Beautiful
