Ristorante Pizzeria Mazzini In Genova

Big surprise. Late Friday evening, we were looking for the nearest place to eat. We ordered a pesto pizza and house wine. It turned out to be a great choice. After leaving, I checked the restaurant's rating on Google and was very surprised to find only a 3.9. I've been to restaurants with 4.7 and 4.9 ratings since, and the food wasn't any better than this one.

For a quick and varied lunch break, this is the place to be. A good ethnic-style restaurant where you can eat well and affordably.

Restaurant-Pizzeria in the heart of Genoa. The selection of dishes is truly extensive, as are the pizzas, which are the ones we ate. The dough is of good quality, as are the toppings. The desserts are also delicious; I personally ordered the chocolate profiteroles, and I recommend them to everyone. The service is quick and friendly, and the place is clean.

Simple, local, and delicious food right on the street. This isn't a five-star restaurant, but a cozy cafe with "mom-style" food, made from the heart, and with incredibly friendly service. My dish was the delicate Torfie ale pesto Genovese. Delicate, subdued in flavor, with an insanely delicious pesto. For those who don't like long pasta but want to try local food. For dessert, I tried the Profiteroles – choux pastry balls covered in chocolate. The perfect accompaniment to end the day 👍. A huge plus for the menu! If you don't speak English or Italian, the menu includes a photo, the dish number, and the price. And you get what you ask for. Before the main course arrived, there was a delicious, warm appetizer – a side dish with olive oil. It was impossible to forget you're in Italy... I recommend this place to anyone who appreciates local food.

Outside seating is great on a pretty day. Food is perfect quality and price. Just right.

The restaurant was open even after 3pm on a Sunday. The food was really good and for the price exceeds expectations.

Fantastic food. I had the tagliatelle alla portofino – phenomenal flavor, oohs and aahs. I recommend this dish, it's perfect.
