Ristorante Pizzeria Mastro Ciliegia In Firenze

I passed this place one evening and knew that I had to come back. I was specifically looking for a white base pizza. My server was super friendly and spoke really fluent English. They had a menu in Italian and in English. They did charge me a 2 euro cover charge. The pizza was absolutely delicious! They gave me a take home box for what I couldn’t finish. Would recommend to anyone visiting Florence for the first time!

A beautiful corner of Florence, away from the hustle and bustle, a small, charming square. The pizza was excellent, served quickly, fresh, and delicious. Good service, and the selection was simple and quick. Much nicer than the main, crowded streets of Florence. Very affordable!

We wandered around a lot before we stopped at this beautiful place. To tell the truth, it seemed like they wanted to rip us off everywhere. We got tired and gave up. We saw a guy outside a restaurant that finally seemed the first one, he seemed nice and honest, we were looking for pizza and he said the restaurant next door did it... We looked at the menu and prices and we realized that it was different from all the others (special pizzas and more honest prices). We were accompanied to the table by a very polite and kind waiter, he is Tuscan, and you could really see that it is a serious place, no rip-offs... They brought two pizzas that were out of this world... I still remember it. The house wine was excellent (white), you could finish with a coffee and I counted it fair for what we had been offered. I want to emphasize - the service of all the staff - it felt like being among friends, and you felt unique at the same time. We wandered around again and went back again because only here could you drink something truly quality and in peace. The pizza we had was the best we've ever eaten. Congratulations to all of you guys! You're truly talented! We really enjoyed it! Thank you.

Very good restaurant in the heart of Florence! The pizzas were excellent and the staff very welcoming!

Get the gnocchi, it is heavenly.

The gnocchi was delicious with the creamy sauce and little bacon bits. The house wine is apparently from around 25km away and was excellent. Finally, there was the bistecca alla Fiorentina which was cooked to perfection and was better and cheaper than the last place we had it which charged way more for the same amount. Andrea was great and he taught me some Italian words and gave some background on the Tuscan unsalted bread. I also appreciated that he spoke to me in Italian instead of only in English. Grazie mille signore per una esperienza indimenticabile e sopratutto deliciosa!

Amazing spot. Great food and great service. Had the special of the day paparadelle with duck sauce and leg of lamb - both were mind blowing.

Mastro Ciltegia Ristorante Pizzeria in Firenze is an absolute gem! Adi and Andrea (hope I am spelling the names right) made us feel instantly welcome with their friendly and attentive service, and the standout of the evening was the codfish & lemon risotto, perfectly creamy, with tender, flavorful cod and a fresh burst of lemon that made every bite unforgettable. Cozy yet elegant, this restaurant delivers both exceptional food and warm hospitality, truly a must-visit in Florence, honest people always win!

Tenía antojo de pizza burrata, así que llegué a este restaurante impresionante (los asientos al aire libre son increíbles, frente a dos calles) en mi camino a algún lugar. Un servidor sugirió burrata y pizza de camarones, pero felizmente lo hicieron sin los camarones (el marisco no es lo mío). Estaba realmente delicioso, con tomates cherry frescos. Toda la zona es bulliciosa, pero este lugar destaca totalmente.
