20/08/2025: I booked through Google. The view was wonderful, the atmosphere relaxed, and the service was fast and friendly.
I absolutely recommend the raw tuna and swordfish; the involtini and linguine tre paesi were also delicious.
Excellent value for money, considering the generous portions.
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed a wonderful evening.
19/08/2025: A charming location, but the prices definitely need reconsidering! We reached the cove down the steps (which then continue down a rather uncomfortable and dirty path). Here, you can enjoy an excellent view of Chianalea and the castle of Scilla, and so far, so beautiful. We immediately noticed there were two platforms with tables, one on the beach and one on the terrace overlooking the sea. Since there were no other customers yet, the waiter took us directly to the one overlooking the sea. We ordered two seafood starters, a mixed fried fish platter, a main course of swordfish rolls, a glass of white wine, a water, and finally two lemon sorbets. The "linguine ai tre paesi" were delicious, the spaghetti with clams and pistachios a little less so, a bit of a disappointment. The rest of the dishes were more or less good. And finally, the surprise: the bill! The most indecent and unacceptable item on the bill was the cover charge, which cost us 5 euros each (perhaps because we were on the terrace). Then came €5 for a scoop of lemon sorbet and €3 for a plastic water bottle. Furthermore, along the sides of the walkway leading to the terrace, there were still overflowing trash bins, left by beachgoers and never removed. To charge a €5 cover charge, it would be a good idea to at least remove the trash after the beach closes. Granted, that's still an exorbitant price. Total bill: €98.
