For anyone who heard the banging from the kitchen, it's upstairs, connected by a latch and is managed by two people. There's only one wine and dessert fridge. Who knows where it went?

For us, a stay in Riva always includes a visit to the pizzeria La Leonessa. The pizzas are very good and offer excellent value for money.

19/08/2025: When we come to Polsa we often come here. Although the food is ok, service is "so so". This morning we came to have breakfast and sadly enough my son and I were looking for a trash can in the outdoor eating space. None in sight. We actually noticed how much trash was left on the sides of the propriety. Sad to see for an immaculate are as such. And this is not the only time we noticed this. It seems though, this is a reoccurring event and noticeable and typical in many places in Italy: no trash bins available. Would be to sad to leave photos
