Excellent pizza, I always prefer the classic margherita, my family members had a 2-flavor panuozzo, excellent too, nice cold beer, polite and fast service, we will be back!!

Excellent pizza, friendly staff, but prices that don't correspond to the menu, a little more seriousness is needed because as customers we feel cheated. I hope that next time there won't be any more of these problems

We had dinner at this place on a Saturday night. Arriving around 8pm waiting times are short.
Friendly staff, great pizza.
A flaw is that the prices on the menu do not correspond to what you then pay.
I find it a lack of seriousness towards the customer.
French fries from the menu €2 you pay €4.
Coke from the menu €2.50 paid €3.
Parking lot that floods immediately with a bit of rain, puddles everywhere.
However, highly recommended for the excellent pizza.

I returned to this place after about 40 years: in fact, when I was just eighteen, even before arriving at the various pizzerias in Gragnano and Vico Equense, here at La Carmencita in Sant'Antonio Abate I ate my first pizza by the meter (or by the kilo ). I came back after having been working as a marketing food specialist in the catering and hotel reception sector for many years now.
I had become curious while watching some videos on Tik Tok and I had perceived something ancient but also new.
From the appearance and presentation in these "wood-like" trays, let's say, time seems to have stopped as does the use of the classic, and not always effective, hotel knife for cutting.
From the speed and therefore ease of cutting (with a tool not famous for its effectiveness) I noticed that the dough was light.
When I went, my wife Emanuela and our family friend Laura, I had confirmation both by tasting it and after a brief conversation with the owner:
as I had guessed, today's pizza, compared to the past, has greater meltability and palatability due to greater hydration of the dough and a 24-hour leavening.
Soon I'm going to try the panuozzo which promises just as many surprises and "tastyness".

Restaurant/pizzeria in full Gragnano style, both for the decor and the culinary offerings. The wait was a bit long considering it was a weekday evening and the room was half empty, so takeaway was probably the priority. Once it arrived, however, the pizza was worth the wait. Thick, crispy dough and "nzevato" to perfection, daring combinations (escarole, sausage and anchovies) but spot on. Pizza without too many frills as Gragnano tradition dictates. 4 STARS for the wait. Top parking. Cold room.

Sempre il 🔝, è da una vita che mangiamo le pizze de “La Carmencita” e non ci stancheremo mai di mangiarle.
Anche questa sera non ha deluso le aspettative, impasto buonissimo e leggerissimo, ingredienti di qualità ma soprattutto la gentilezza e il calore di Nunzio e della sua famiglia non possono che farci ritornare sempre. Consigliassimo!!!

Locale situato in una traversa della strada principale di sant’antonio abate. Lo staff e’ eccezionale, molto attento al cliente. Abbiamo preso panuozzo e pizza; il panuozzo era molto buono
