We went yesterday for the first time.
We didn't have a reservation, but I don't think that's the problem. We waited an hour and 15 minutes. We went in and ordered half a panuozzo and half a pizza. They brought us one half an hour apart.
The panuozzo was very delicate and tasty.
The pizza was awful, rubbery, raw, and even worse, with terrible mushrooms. We weren't satisfied, to be honest...

This evening I'd thought about going to the porchetta festival, but I was so disappointed. So I decided to stop here... and thankfully!
I ate a panuozzo with porchetta, super crispy and flavorful, exactly as it should be.
The staff was a little tense, but that's more than understandable on a Saturday night with the place packed with customers. The owner, Nunzio, always attentive and present, brought us two delicious potato croquettes and two eggplant pizzas as soon as we sat down—in less than 5 minutes—kindly offered them on the house while we were ordering. A truly appreciated gesture, especially since we were incredibly hungry and it was already 10:30 PM.
Shortly afterward, our drinks and the two mozzarella in carrozza we'd ordered arrived, both absolutely delicious. There was only a slight delay on the panuozzo due to a small issue with the order management system, but after all the attention we received upon arrival, I really don't feel like judging it negatively.
In conclusion, everything was excellent: excellent quality and exceptional panuozzo.

Carmencita Pizza & Panuozzo is a true guarantee for those who love authentic flavors. The pizzas are excellent, with light, well-leavened dough, quality ingredients, and perfect cooking. The panuozzo is equally excellent: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, generously filled and flavorful. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere complete the experience. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Carmencita in Sant’Antonio Abate, run with passion by Nunzio Mascolo. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, perfect for those seeking not only excellent food but also warmth and tradition.
The quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparation are evident in every bite: fragrant pizzas, light dough, and generous toppings. But the real highlight came at the end of the dinner, when Nunzio proudly and generously offered us the panuozzo DOC that he brought to the 2025 World Panuozzo Competition in Paestum.
A masterpiece: crispy bread on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with the highest-quality ingredients. Highly recommended pizzeria.

(Very good and unique pizza, I've been going there for over 20 years. Top) This was my old comment, now I've been going there for 30 years, I brought friends and I made a fool of myself. The prices have skyrocketed, the pizzas have shrunk, and if there's one thing I hate, it's when they force you to buy drinks either on tap or in small bottles, it's extortion. This post hurts me, but unfortunately it's true, I wish I could wave a magic wand to bring it back to 10 years ago 😭

The owner and the staff at the tables were very kind and friendly. The pizza and panuozzo were very good, excellent value for money. ps. They also offered cricche and frittatina. I will return.

The pizza was huge. One would easily have fed two. But taste-wise, I've had better in Italy. The service was great. The ambiance—a huge hall with white tablecloths—would have been better suited to a large celebration.
