The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. Bringing our dog with us wasn't a problem at all. We'd be happy to go back.

We’ve selected this place two times during our three days visit in Colico- would do three times but it was closed on Monday.
That’s how I’d imagine local Italian restaurant, cosy atmosphere and great, tasty food. Service was friendly, food was ready really quick and prices are reasonable. Definitely recommended place in Colico.

A somewhat dated restaurant at first glance, but that gives a distorted impression of the quality of the food. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. We traveled through Italy for two weeks and had the best pasta carbonara of our entire trip (and we tried plenty). Personally, I wasn't as impressed with the tagliata; it could have been dressed a bit nicer with more herbs or perhaps a balsamic dressing... But still, absolutely recommended!

Updated 2025. Excellent pizza, especially the Alsatian, but there are other dishes worth discovering.
Good pizza. Fast and friendly service. Eating inside is very pleasant in the winter. In the summer, the large veranda is very popular. They also have a play area for children.

We had dinner at "Il Faro" on September 25th.
The starter was "Gamberetti Grana e Pere" and the main course was "Grigliata Pesce" with "Verdure Griglia" and "Insalata Mista."
The starter was okay (6 out of 10 points). The grilled fish was served warm, but not hot (6 out of 10 points). The grilled vegetables (Verdure Mista) were served lukewarm (3 out of 10 points). The mixed salad was okay.
1/2 liter of sparkling wine and 1 liter of Aqua Naturale.
To finish, two café espressos.
All in all, €84. Overall, I can only give it 6 points for value for money.
Are we being too demanding if I expect a sparkling wine to be served in an attractive glass rather than a thick-rimmed glass?

Abbiamo ordinato un filetto al pepe verde , fritto di pesce e pizze. Tutto abbastanza buono , meglio le pizze. Il costo decisamente ottimo ma l'ambiente sotto la tettoia è da mensa aziendale, pessimo.
