Pizza is n o r m e and excellent. I've been going there for 20 years and they've never failed. You have to book in advance all year round.

In Castagneto Carducci stands the Pizzeria Il Cappellaccio which offers fabulous, delicious and very large pizzas. The draft beers and desserts are also good.

Very nice, warm and welcoming place. The food was great. Reasonably priced and good portions. Friendly and fast service. Would definitely recommend.

They serve a huge pizza, 40 cm in diameter: those who love quantity won't be disappointed. The service was a little slow, on a Saturday the place was full. The covered veranda is heated by gas burners: the one near our table went out and we waited about twenty minutes before they put it back into operation.

Pizza among the best in Tuscany, if not the best and certainly the largest: Environment too heated to the point that you could feel nauseous if you eat a lot.

Le materie prime sono di qualità e nel piatto si sente! La pizza, in particolare, è quella per cui ho un debole: è eccezionale per il suo sapore e unica per la sua grandezza, che la rende conosciuta e molto apprezzata. PS il sorbetto al limone è fantastico.

27/05/2025: Close to the beach 60 m. Town center 20 min by bike on cycle path and 40 m on foot
20/05/2025: We camped here in our caravan in the fall of 2024. The site is beautiful. The restroom facilities are adequate. We also liked the supermarket, restaurant, and pool. The staff are always friendly. The sea and the small town are within walking distance. However, the beach area is crowded and has many rental loungers, which is probably not as nice in the summer. Elba itself is a dream, especially in the fall. We highly recommend the campsite.
